    There will be a "wow"-effect to everyone that enteres the hotel Don Cándido for the first time - the central, round areaway inside the also round hotel is simply amazing (see homepage).

    All rooms are arranged around the big round, metres high areaway, ranging from the inner doors-ring to the hotel's fasade. And in the middle of the areaway is a bar located.

    Since this hotel has 4 stars, guests could expect a higher level of service, and the hotel Don Cándido satisfies most of these expectations: service people are very friendly and heldfull, the barkeeper is very nice and funny, and the hotel gives a good impression in general. On the other hand, the rooms are rather of average quality. I've seen better and nicer (bath)rooms in 3 star hotels. This is a little bit disappointing.

    The hotel is placed very next to the highway to Barcelona, so it only takes 30 minutes to get to Barcelona city (1 hour in the typical traffic jam) or to Barcelona airport.
