Not the greatest pub in the area, never looks particularly clean (especially the toilets which always stink). Its reasonable for a quick drink, but not somewhere to spend the whole evening. I've eaten there a few times and its rather hit and miss, sometime ok, but sometimes awful. One evening we were told, when ordering, that starters and mains would be served at at the same time as the kitchen was closing, yet this was half an hour before the "food served til" time. Ce n'est pas le meilleur pub du quartier, il n'est pas particulierement prope (spécialement les toilettes, toujours sale). C'est raisonable pour un petit verre, mais ce n'est pas un endroit ou rester toute la soirée. J'ai manger quelques fois, s'était pas mal mais parfois affreux. Une fois il nous ont dis qu'ils allaient nous servir les entrées et les plats en même temps car la cuisine etait entrain de fermé, s'était une demi-heure avant que le repas soit servi. Très bizarre.

Nice pub, friendly staff and a good range of ales and wine. good offers on food which has always been of good 'pub grub' quality. Much better than your average Ember Inn ! Gets busy at the weekend.

Vous obtenez ce que vous payez ici, et vous ne payer pas beaucoup. c'est parfait pour une grillade car ce n'est pas très cher, mais vous seriez déçu si vous êtes venu ici pour une «occasion». Tou le personnel semblent être assez amical. Ne venez pas au milieu de la semaine car il ne semble pas y avoir une rotation de clients pour garder la nourriture fraîche. N'éspérez pas avoir un desert après 8 heures car nous avons essayé de prendre commande et la cuisine étais fermé parceque il n'y avait pas trop de monde.

You get what you pay for here, and you dont pay a lot. I'ts ok for a really cheap carvery meal, but you would be disappointed if you came here for an 'occasion'. staff are friendly enough, and there seemed to be plenty of them. dont come mid week though as it doesnt seem to have the turnover of customers to keep the food fresh. Dont expect pudding either as at 8 oclock we went to oder and was told that the kitchen had closed early because the pub was quiet.

Great in the summer for sitting outside, but also really cosy in the wnter, Great food, little more expensive than your normal pub grub, but a lot nicer too. Definately worth a visit once in a while.

Used them twice, lured by the price. The first order took 5 weeks to arrive, second order made two weeks before Christmas arrived on 29th December, then when I gave this gift late, the recipiant called me to say that it was faulty. I have emailed their customerservices twice as dont answer the phone, but have not had a reply to let me know how I should return. I know they look cheap, but I would not recommend using CD Wow.
