Escape - Computer Service - Edinburgh

5 London Road, Edinburgh, Scotland EH7 5AP

The guy there is really friendly and welcoming and knows his stuff. They do a free diagnosis before you agree to any work and will even sell you parts after the diagnosis if you want to put the in yourself and save money. It turned out that I couldn't afford the work on my computer (although the price was very reasonable for what it was, just a shame it needed done) and he was very nice about me not having the money at the moment and taking the computer home. I would go back there any time!

Eastside Bikes - Edinburgh

Best steer clear, in my opinion. If you do go there, speak to the long haired guy with glasses, he was very friendly and helpful.

However, the English guy with short dark hair was so rude! He took it personally that I didn't want more repairs than I had originally signed up for and proceeded to be very rude to me. Also, when I first went in, he just took the bike and clearly wasn't going to discuss how much the repair would cost and what exactly he would do, I only managed to get a price when I pressed him for it. Also, they ruined my slime innertube by letting the air out when the valve was at the top. It was obvious they weren't keen on slime innertubes and that is up to them, but it was mine, not theirs! If you let the air out when the valve is at the side or bottom then it won't slog up the valve and ruin it.

Better to try somewhere like 2wheelsupport in my opinion, they were very friendly, prices are cheaper and they give you an onsite quote at your house before taking your bike. Unfortunately they didn't have access to the part which I required as it needed to come from an old bike, thus driving me to the condescending man at Eastside Bikes and ruining my day.
