Broadway Pizza - Minneapolis

Lyndale Avenue South 7514, 55423 Minneapolis

26-05-2008

Simply Put…
The BEST pizza on this planet!

I so miss dining on their delicious pizza.
Trust me, when my family visits MN, Broadway Pizza is our first meal there.

The crust is perfectly thin, perfectly baked.
The toppings are plentiful.
The cheese is out-of-this-world yummy.

Yay- they cut the pizza into squares, which makes it easy to eat.

Trust me, I’ve searched for a even somewhat comparable pizza, yet so far haven’t found that perfect pizza ANYwhere else.

Z Gallerie - San Jose

Santana Row Suite 301 378, 95128 San Jose

Can a person be in love with a store?

Darn right they can be!
I’m in love (a little bit of lust!) with Z Gallerie!

It is a destination as it is the closest ZG to my happy home.
I’d be thrilled if they opened a store in Livermore…hint, hint!

Our fun house is decked out in oodles of items from Z Gallerie.

They offer gorgeous items for the home…
from furniture, artworks, sconces…to pretty place mats.

The prices are very reasonable; especially considering it’s in Santana Row. It’s fantastic they offer luxurious home decor/furnishings at affordable prices.

The set designs are phenomenal. When I see a faux room set up, I think to myself “I’ll take one of those”...meaning the entire room!

Their web site rocks!

The girls in my extended family unit also love ZG.
Goody- that makes it a breeze to shop for their gifts online. The gifts can be sent directly to the gift recipient…cool!

Prior to my destination visits, I browse the site and write up my wish list. The wished items have usually been in stock when I get there in person, along with my handsome man.

Yes- he actually enjoys the store as well. They have a wonderful array of funny books (I’ve heard him laughing from across the store!), and hand-held games and just plain fun stuff.
Actually, all that fun stuff makes for good gifts for the hard-to-shop-for!

Ok- I think I just talked myself into making Z Gallerie a destination…for today!

BTW-
The furniture they offer really truly is stunning.
Yet, it is priced a bit too high for us.

If I were a rich girl….............
I’d have several tons of it!

Winchester Mystery House - San Jose

South Winchester 525, 95128 San Jose

26-05-2008

They’re creepy and they’re kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re all together ooky,
The Addams Family.

Their house is a museum.
When people come to see ‘em
They really are a screa-um.
The Addams Family.

The Addams Family would have enjoyed living here!
Of course they’d have to add a bit of their own special Gothic
colors and do-dads to the place, yet they’d like it!

Mrs. Winchester was a little goofy with her architectural designs;some fun & thought-provoking home enhancements.

I won’t tell you the story behind the unusual architecture; you’ll
have to do the tour yourself for that interesting information! :)

My favorite part of the tour was the itsy-bitsy stairs-
I swear the risers were about 2”...oodles of stairs!

We’ve been on the tour a few times.
Out of state folks always have the mysterious casa on their
“must see” list.
Why do they ALL want the same darn tour?!!
That same darn tour is the “Mansion Tour”...$23.95.

The price is a bit steep if you’re footing the bill for several people.

My immediate family still enjoys it as each tour guide adds a
little hunk of new information that’s new to our ears.

Methinks it is a tour worth taking at least once…or a few
times IF you’re doing the different tour packages available.
