Clondalkin Leisure Centre - Dublin
Nangor Road, Dublin
13-07-2009
Compared to similar facilities in Dublin the Clondalkin Leisure Centre is clean, spacious and bright. The staff are friendly and there is a wide range of sports activities available. The reason why I am rating this place 4 and not 5 is the rip-off requirement to purchase one year (unrefundable-no-matter-what) membership to avail of the services such as gym. It must be stopping many people from using the centre as the financial commitment is too high; besides many people move in and out of the area so long term commitments like this just do not make sense. Great swimming pool. Cheap cafeteria.
Czech Inn - Dublin
templebar, Dublin

This is one of my favourite pubs in Dublin. I mean the upstairs part of it which is cosy and very Czech. Downstairs part puts me off for some reason but upstairs is worth the climbing. There is often live music there in the evenings. The food and beers are superb but the prices are like in other pubs that serve food - reasonable. They have table soccer there as well and this is great. Highly recommended.
YourEnglish - School of English in Dublin - Dublin
Audeon's House, Bridge Street / Cook Street - Dublin city centre, Dublin

English school as it should be - my teacher is friendly, competent and able to answer questions. There are only 6 people in the class. The course is not very expensive and they give me all materials. Before I started there was a free English test. My group has lessons on Sundays but there are also classes from Monday till Saturday.
