I purchased a Groupon voucher for IPL with Lacey Lou's and I have to say I have been very impressed with the treatment and the customer service they have offered throughout. I have always found all staff to be polite and welcoming and if there has been a problem like last week with the snow the staff contacted me im advance, and if I call and can not get trhough they pick up the voicemail or email and contact me back in a very reasonable time.
I have been so pleased with them that I have purchsed additional IPL sessions since the Groupon.
It is uncomfortable but that is understandable considering they are effectively burning the hair but if you make sure you have not been in the sun or stayed covered up prior to the treatment then there should be no issue. I hold a tan well and last time had to sign to say I'd had not sun or sunbeds in the last 30 days even though my last holiday was in September but that just shows they are diligent with the rules and I would say if anyone has an issue after IPL it's through that persons own misunderstandings of what it is and what you need to do to achieve the results you want.
I have to travel for over an hour to get there so it just shows they are worth seeing if I have chosen to buy more and travel that far, I'm sure I will keep using this lovely family run salon for years to come.

The girl who cut my hair was lovely but she got a simple trim wrpng and I have a long bit on one side which is about an inch longer than the rest.
Would not reccomend this place to my friends and family.
