Bean & Brush Family Art Cafe - Sale

12 Hayfield Street, The Old Sorting Office, Sale, Greater Manchester M33 7XW

27-01-2012

We had a great day on Monday letting our creative juices flow with encouragement from our host.

The choice of colours was good and molds on which to paint and we have some ideas to make our own collections.

In addition, there is a lovely choice of food and coffees to refresh yourself after a good afternoon of crafting.

Fantastic opportunity, and what a great idea, we loved it … !!!!

Claire Colours - Eccles

73 Cypress Road, Eccles, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 8JX

Claire Colours offers an online service whereby you can have an image consultation, get a personalised seasonal palette to fit in your bag for your next shopping trip, a wardrobe planner and body shape style tricks.

Colourful manicures to finish your look can be provided from the Laserina Clinic in Sale from which Claire Colours can be found on Monday's and Wednesday's.

Lydia Knits - Eccles

73 Cypress Road, Eccles, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 8JX

08-07-2011

I have been knitting since I was a child and in recent years have stretched my talents into designing patterns and working with beautiful yarns.

As the creator of Lydia Knits, I have met some interesting people and joined a global community of handknitting enthusiasts.

I would recommend this small business, because of its attention to detail, keeps in step with current trends and just loves to knit.

Elena Burrows, Counsellor at the Laserina Clinic - Sale

24a Washway Road, Sale, Sale, Greater Manchester M33 7QY

10-06-2011

I loved reading Elena's story and have spent some time with her, she is kind and very intuitive about situations and I think this is because her life experience and training has developed an understanding spirit and an ability to look beyond the obvious. I really think she will do well as a counsellor.

Floors-4u - Manchester

Eccles Old Market Hall, Church Street, Eccles, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 0EW

18-01-2011

I am looking for a piece of flooring for my kitchen. Floors-4u are friendly and helpful and what I feel is an excellent service is that they will measure up for free and help you choose your new carpet in the comfort of your own home.

Domestic clients, like myself, even get the chance to pay for their flooring weekly and on a 0% finance, and I have never heard of that before. They have a small stock to takeaway but promise a next day delivery from their suppliers.

I live locally, but they cover all of Manchester and supply to businesses also. So I am going to be booking my free measure and quote shortly.

eccles market hall - Manchester

Opposite Aldi, Church Street, Eccles, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 0EW

10-12-2010

I have been visiting Eccles Market Hall, locally known as Eccles Old Indoor Market, regularly for the last 6 months. The stall holders are friendly and willing to help you and offer a wide range of fabulous fancy goods, local produce, fashion and accessories, crafts and computer games, and tools and furnishings for your home and motor car, and a large area dedicated to all types of carpeting, laminates and wood flooring. It also has a cafe which supplies a simple but quite extensive menu.

I have bought free range chicken from the small butcher and knitting wools, cakes and of course had a coffee in the cafe.

There is so much to discover here, and the market has been looking after the community for over 50 years, that must say something.

Caramel Photography - Cheadle Hulme

I have worked with Ian on a couple of projects now, and each time I marvel at his professional approach to his art. That is what he produces. Art.

He has earned the accolade of the North West’s Master Photographer for 2009 - 2010 amongst many others and I personally think it is well deserved.

Yet he still remains a friendly, and charming person, and I am glad to have been given the chance to have worked with him.

Well done, Ian….

CLAIRE LYDIA RAY Thank you Ian for giving me the opportunity to take part in the Bramhall Village Calendar as a Calendar Girl for 2010 and for producing a photographic portfolio for my business.

You have given me back so much confidence ...

Lilac Wines UK - Manchester

73 CYPRESS ROAD, ECCLES, Manchester, Greater Manchester M30 8JX

15-05-2009 (updated on 18-06-2009)

Lilac Wines UK is part of the Virtual Office Management network that I run through VOMnet-UK and will be administered by one of our Virtual Team.

I want to promote Portuguese wines in the North West of England as there are strong historical links with Portugal dating back to the 14th century. Philippa of Lancaster who married Dom Joao was the mother of Henrique the Navigator who instigated the global maritime expansion of Portugal and took with her the foods and traditions of her homeland.

My supplier belongs to the beautiful region of the Douro Valley and it is an honour to be a distributor of his wines. We will also be making arrangements for you to visit the vineyard on long weekend stays with flights direct from Liverpool.

So keep it here and enjoy our blogs, news and reviews.

CLAIRE LYDIA RAY We are going to celebrate our launch with a summer networking evening shortly in exclusive offices in central Manchester. Dates and the venue will be available in due course. For more information follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/lilacwinesuk

CLAIRE LYDIA RAY I am organising our event this week, with a Tour of the Douro Valley on screen and Portuguese music. A finger buffet from a local restaurant and themed rooms for beauty treatments, photography, interior design and many other new products available in Manchester.

So get your frock ready for August. The date and venue will be advertised shortly. It is all very exciting!

Europium World - Manchester

You can be sure that this company is set to surprise you at every turn with innovative ideas.

Apart from the wide range of scooters and off road vehicles; they supply a 'vapour volcano' as described by the Scotsman as their 'Gadget of the Week' and a naturally produced beer and lager range from Bavaria called Moosbacher.

I have the Nirvana Aroma Diffuser from their site at www.aromad.co.uk which I am trying out and love the Lager and Pilsner from their Moosbacher range which includes Keller, Dark and Light Wheat Beers becoming so much more popular here. Keeping the boys away from the toys is going to be a major problem in my family.

As far as I am concerned these guys have a finger on the pulse and are to be watched and I wish them every success.

The Ben Lomond - Tarbet

Tarbet, Arrochar, Scotland G83 7DA

17-05-2009

It was a dark, cold and wet November evening when we arrived here and the fine drizzle just soaked through you. So a bowl of Haggis Broth was very welcome. Based on the Scotch Broth recipe that we all know and love, this was hearty and warming. Followed by lovely fat chips and a steak pie, and my pie had haggis in it which I love, we walked back to our lovely lodgings in the village, full and ready for a good night’s sleep.

This is a place very definitely to return if we ever get up that way again. Service was very friendly, and we were not the only customers on that wintery Friday night. Interesting decor and next time will try to be there when the craft shop is open…
