Always very tasty food – something on the menu for everyone. The tapas is particuarly tempting, and nicely varied, but with light dishes, small plates and full meals for those less keen on sharing! Bright, friendly atmosphere and a handy location. More of a lunch/day place for me, but nice to pop in to in the evenings, too.

A pleasant stay with friendly, welcoming staff. The old buildings themselves are beautiful but the decor could perhaps be updated to make the most of the history and space. Rooms are clean and a lovely size but lacking in luxury and the little details for the price paid (four poster bed, but no frame on the mirror for example). What it lacks in style it makes up for in location though – very convenient for the train station, the town centre and the seaside.Tasty breakfast, too!

A warm welcome, impeccable but relaxing service and food that’s truly memorable (for all the right reasons). The restaurant menu was top-class, with plenty of variety and surprise, and all of us were delighted with our choices. I’ll definitely go back when I’m next in the area.

Cosy, welcoming and laid back. Can get busy because of its size but nice if you can get a seat.

Gwesty traddodiadol – ddistaw, gyda croeso cynnes. Dim llawer o ddewis ar y fwydlen ond roedd popeth arno fo wedi ei coginio’n dda.

Great atmosphere – really cozy and a wonderful sense of history, and the food is fantastic. It’s a little bit more expensive than some other places nearby but more than worth the extra. There’s fabulous choice on the menu and you can tell the chef cares – definitely not a cut above standard pub-grub but still relaxing and real value for money.

Went in for breakfast today when most other places around weren’t open. We got a real welcome, great service and excellent food. Recommended.
