Love this place. Great relaxed setting, attentive staff, sensational wine and platters. Mid to upper price range and worth it.

Don't believe the hype! I went there with a friend from Toronto last Thursday PM and we had a nice drink downstairs in the quirky little bar. We were seated shortly afterwards, the place had a great atmosphere and the staf fairly attentive. Then came the sorry excuse for Italian style tapas food. In short the food was either luke warm, over or under cooked, basic slapped together left overs. Having ordered 8 dishes you would have thought atleast one was worh trying to finish, but sadly not. Trying to add some fun back into the evening I ordered the fail safe doughnuts come profiteroles. Literally one bite of this stale excuse for anything dessert like and that was game over. Go to Polpo to hang out and drink, but not to eat.

princessjasmine never been and came across their site and twitter account today - kind of torn as to whether to go just so I can reach same conclusion, or not to bother. Location is a big thing to me and wondering whether they are being slapdash because they are likely to get business from tourists meaning effort isn't important...

The best pub in Notting Hill by far! Their new kitchen and staff are awesome. Menu prices are top end pub prices, but still represent value for the area.
