Best chippy in town! right in the middle of town, easy to get to, don’t really get bug ques there.
Can eat in if you want to as there is plenty of space.

Can’t believe what variaty they have in this shop. Everything from sweets, to cushions, DIY, to DVD’s. Really good place to shop to look for ideas for presents.
Excellent for christmas decorations.
Just about everything is at a good price.

Big size shop with loads of potentional bargins. Good for stocking filler presents or handy DIY bits.
Standard pound shop produce on offer with large range of childrens toys, sweets and much much more!

Quality place to watch sports. It has loads of different rooms (coves) where a group of people can chat, eat, watch the footy, rugby, etc.
Has a pool table, a good area for smoking outside
Price for drinks is good, especially if you get a barracuda card.
Only problem is for big events the bar does get packed, so you have to wait a while to get served. But other than that, cracking place to go on a night out (but not to finish with as the place gets empty around 11ish) or in the day.

This is a really nice, cosy pub. has a nice cosy, friendly atmosphere in the pub.
I go there for meals which are really tastey and at a reasonable price. Good ales on offer, with a decent selection of wines.
Has a good size car park.

Really popular place, espically on saturday nights. good music, drink price is ok.
Don’t go there as much these days as there is a young crowd in there now 18-early 20’s.
Place does really good live bands and have big names there on occasion.

Cheap and chearful.
I usually use it for socks, underwear and work shirts. Some of the shrt and tie combo’s are really handy and only cost about a fiver.
Some of the other clothes look decent, like jeans, jumpers, casual t shirts, bed clothes, etc.
I also use it for some clothes for fancy dress (i.e. playng pub golf) the stuff is so cheap i can afford to give it to help the aged after i’ve used it.
My girlfiend gets loads of joggers, tops, bras, etc from there. Its in a good location to as its only a stones through from the bus stop.
Long ques most of the time but they quickly go down.
