Nice One - Brighton
131 Dyke Road, Brighton BN3 1UH

Its you’re standard newsagent, but has a nice variety of things including drinks, sweets, food, alchohol, toys, magazines etc. They have a nice sweet section, things you wont get in the co-op etc, but the place is really small and narrow, tis quite annoying.
BHASVIC carboot sale - Brighton
Old Shoreham road, Brighton BN1 5DD
15-11-2008
Not a bad little car boot sale, but not very big, so you won’t be spending long there. Its quite cheap to set up stall there and free for students of the college. Not bad if you wanna earn a bit of cash or want a car boot and live in town.
Brighton & Hove City Cabs - Brighton
Unit 2, Brighton BN1 1NF

The rides are a rip off, the staff are there for the money obviously, the rides are uninspiring and there are few to choose from. If you’re used to the thrills of alton towers, thorpe park etc DON’T EXPECT MUCH.
Polskie Smaki - Brighton
36 St. James's Street, Brighton BN2 1RG
15-11-2008
Perfect for foreign or polish food at reasonable prices. It gives you a bit more variety than just another tesco’s and the likes. Does ocassionally have some offers on which are worht looking at.
The Money Exchange - Brighton
50A St. James's Street, Brighton BN2 1QJ

I hate shops like these. The items within them are not cheap at all and you can definately find the item cheaper elsewhere. They seem to profit from peoples poverty which I don’t like, although they do probably help alot of people in there own money grabbing way. You can however find items which you may not be able to at most other shops, so it’s ok for that. Otherwise, save your pennies.
Candy Bar - Brighton
St James Street, Brighton BN2 1TH
15-11-2008
This place has now changed from the candy bar to the ghetto and seems to have gone down hill a bit. Looks good though if you’re look for an alternative night out, somewhere away from the busy grimey places like tru.
Passport - Brighton
108 St. James's Street, Brighton BN2 1TH

Although I have never bought anything from there, the clothes look hideuos, although Im sure graham norton or elton john wouldnt mind a look in there. It all seems over priced. But each to there own. Perfect if you want an odd excentric suit.
Bona Foodie - Brighton
21 St. James's Street, Brighton BN2 1RF

The place is charming and the food looks lush in their windows. I have bought stuff from there, wasn’t spectacular, but good all the same! Its nice to see a personal, local business thrive. Alot of choice and is good for lunches or picnics, just buy and go, perfect!
Le Gourmet - Brighton
159 Dyke Road, Brighton BN1 3JE
15-11-2008
The staff here are great and helpful. You can pretty much order any type of sandwich, baguette or wrap that you want. A big hit in the store are their baguettes and they even occasionally run out by the end of the day, so get yours quick! The food is made to order mostly, unless you’re after their gourmet items. Their prices are good and the food is delicious. You have to go if you havent! Best baguettes I have had!
The Co-operative Group - Brighton
124 Dyke Road, Seven Dials, Brighton BN1 3TE
15-11-2008
Not the best co-op by far, but is good for the essentials. The store is a bit small for what theyre trying to offer, but you get a decent range and lots of offers which is always good. Its in a great location, even though its near another co-op, and serves the local college and workers in the area. It has nice staff and is pretty much the usual co-op clone. Nice if you want some fruit for lunch!
