Not keen on this bar, it’s always busy as they sometimes run all ou can drink offers.
The toilets in here are really disgusting as made me feel sick.

A really lively pub with a good atmosphere. Great to stop off during a shopping trip for a cheap meal. This place is huge so its normally easy to find a table or place to sit. The staff are really friendly and are happy to chat to you. They are very strict with id for the younger customers of which there are quite a few.
Thursday is curry night which is really good value, the food is ok, cant complain for the prices though.

Merry hill is great, i always go there as its really close to my house. Its seems far more accessible than say going into birmingham for a shopping trip. This is probably because of the acres of free parking available - although duriing busy periods it can be difficult to find a space.
Hundred of shops all the usual highstreet chains are present and a couple of independant shops too. There’s a few pubs and restaurant where you can have a cheap but decent meal if you get hungry after walking around all day.

Its a good topman. All the guys stuff is downstairs and then the women have a massive shop upstairs.
It’s pretty big and theres a lot of choice of different syles of clothes and shoes. It’s well stocked and the stuff changes regularly.
Hawkin's Bazaar - Brierley Hill
Unit L56 The Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill, West Midlands DY5 1QX

Yea hawkins is a good place, along the lines of the gadget shop and places like that full of pretty useless but funny, quirky, and different things.
The staff always are demoing all the toys and are really friendly and keen to talk to you. You can also have a go on some of the stuff they’re playing with.
KFC - Brierley Hill

Good old kentucky fried chicken. It’s out of the centre at the top of the hill behind the cinema which means if your going shopping its a bit of a walk away. This one is probably more of a drive thru place to get some snacks on the way home afterwards.
The place is pretty clean for a kfc. The toilets and other facilities are good too.
Parking could be a problem as there are limited spaces.
Subway - Dudley
Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill, Dudley, West Midlands DY5 1SH

This is a preety good subway. You can find it on the outside of the centre next to the bus station.
All the normally subway sandwiches are there, and the staff are pretty friendly and can make you a decent sandwich.
Not a great on eif you want somewhere to sit down as its a really tiny place and there’s only a couple of tables.
Baredge - Brierley Hill
Level Street, The Waterfront, Brierley Hill, West Midlands DY5 1XL

This place is ok to start you night off in. It’s pretty laid back compared to most of the places along the Waterfront.
Its normally free to get in and the drinks are cheap too. It’s always pretty busy with lots of girls.
Can take a while to get served when its really packed out tho.
Void - Dudley
Waterfront Business Park, Dudley, West Midlands DY5 1LX

I’ve been in here a few times and its not too bad. Although its not really my kind of thing you can have a pretty good night. You can sometimes pick up a free entry flyer from people around the area which is good because its been quite expensive to get in when ive been there.
Watch out for the floor, for some reason it’s incredibly slippy and people are always falling over in here.
The music is ok its mostly bassline stuff i think. Drinks are pretty cheap too.
We did try to go in one night but the police had closed place down as they heard there was gonna be some trouble.
Maya Bars - Brierley Hill
Unit 8 &9 Waterfront East Level Street, Brierley Hill, West Midlands DY5 1XG
24-01-2009
Yea you can normally have a good night in Maya, probably the best bar along the Waterfront as a lot of the other places are a bit rough.
Fridays and Saturdays are both pretty busy, entry prices are reasonable £3 - £5 normally, and drinks are all usual prices for this area.
