The Met Lounge is right near the new TK Maxx and Poundland. It's open on Fridays and Saturdays. Fridays is often the rock nights with live bands, whereas Saturday nights features some more broad music. Ranging from rock, metal, R&B, dance, electro... they'll have a lot of different sorts of music playing. If you ask the DJ nicely you can sometimes get a requested song played. The Met Lounge has a very nice, friendly and social atmosphere. This is despite it feeling like an underground party location rather than a mainstream club. My only complaint with the Met Lounge is the floors and surfaces. No matter when you go in (even if you're the first one there) the tables, floors and counters are ALWAYS sticky! Otherwise a pretty decent venue :)

A fantastic game shop right near the new TK Maxx. The shop is just away from the main Queensgate shopping centre but i feel it benefits from this. The shop is a moderately small one, but there is still room to get around with lots of different items on show. Everything from new releases to old treasures. They seem to stock any things like 360, PS3, WII, DS, PS2, some PS1 games on the odd occasion, Xbox Original, PC... they're pretty awesome. They've even got this cool thing called an Elite Card. It was free to get and you can get money to spend in the shop later when you buy and trade in things. If you ever need any help , the guys and girls there are always there to help and are very friendly and chatty. They are also one thing that their competitor isn't... HONEST! If they think something isn't great or is a waste of money, they'll say it and aren't afraid. These people are real gamers that care and aren't just there to get paid. In my opinion, the best gaming shop in the UK!
