Definitely trendy, and as a Tring resident who has eaten here maybe 20 time in last 4 years I can also confirm that is is now very overpriced and offers very poor service. On our last few visiits we have had to send food back every time – on one occasion the food had to be sent back three times before we gave up, but were able to keep ourselves amused while waiting by listening to other tables around us sending their food back as well. Its strange that the other restaurants owned by this chain get such good reviews while this one consistently gets bad ones on all major review sites.

One star is over generous. We tried this place for Sunday lunch and were served the worst sunday roast we have ever had. Brake brothers pre-pack food at its worst and dire beyond words.

Very friendly, with good service. Nice menu choice, prices very reasonable, food is good and portions generous. The evening we went was shared with a large noisy party who made it uncomfortable for many of the other surrounding diners, but everything else was good and I would definitely recommend.

If you are happy to pay for food that has been pre-prepared many miles away, frozen and then microwaved by untrained part-time staff in the kitchen of La Tasca, then you will probably love it here. If you have eaten real tapas in any Spanish city then you will know that what they serve at La Tasca is a very poor impersonation of the real thing.
