Odeon Mezzanine - Leicester Square
22-24 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7LP

The film starts late, about 20 minutes after scheduled. If you like trailers, I guess that's fine.
After queing for tickets for 5 minutes, then wanting to buy a drink, we were informed we'd have to queue up again in the ticket queue to pay for it - absurd - drink abandoned.
Screen 1, while a reasonable size, isn't great quality. The sound is too loud and certainly isn't Dolby.
The 'premium' seats are, well, hardly premium. You have the opportunity to become a close acquaintance of the stranger next to you. I think premium really means with drink holder.
Why pay £16 per seat for this experience?
Find another cinema.

If you're a londoner and have never been then it's worth a visit if you have a few hours to kill.
And of course if you're a tourist it's an essential stop on your itenary.
While the price is a bit steep at £17 per person it's not much more than a trip to the cinema after you've bought munchies.

Nice if you like a bit of je ne se quoi with your lunch.
£3.50 for a baguette to eat out - it wasn't that great, and you'd get a much larger subway for the same price!
I'm sure the cakes are very nice, but a place to avoid if you are watching the waistline!
Garfunkel's - Mayfair

Poor quality food - mixed vegatables consisted of two slices of carrot and a single piece of brocolli - no kidding!
Grilled lemon chicken was burnt, and looked like it had been the victim of a road traffic accident.
Avoid - clearly a tourist trap with a large menu of english food, no doubt fresh to the table from the freezer via the microwave.
The one star was only for the reasonably quick service, and that the taste was no better than what you’d get from a waitrose ready to eat meal!
River Spice - Wapping

Bland and boring chicken curry with rice (£10).
This sort of place you go when you’re drunk.
Walk across the street to Pizza Express!
