A huge grocery store that does what it says on the tin. Tons of lovely organic products and a nice big selection of yummy cheeses. You can easily spend a while perusing the aisles here and more easily spend a whole heap of money on one meal!
They also have some lovely wines on offer and lots of fresh meat. I say fresh, I did once come home with what turned out to be not at all fresh chicken. They were happy to rectify it but it was a bit of a pain so do check before you leave!
All in all, top notch!

Quite an oddity this far up on Kingsland Road (more toward Dalston than Old St). This shop offers an array of organic goods, from some lovely food and snacks to shampoo and hair dye. You can get refills of Ecover laundry and kitchen cleaning products which is a whole load cheaper than buying them again.
Gone is the morganics butchers next door to be replaced by a nice little cafe, selling cakes and coffee.
The staff here are always lovely and the walls are always stocked! Highly recommend!

Brilliant place if you love table football! Probably annoying if you don’t as this bar is full of them! Had an excellent time here, played tons of games - what a way to spend a sunday!
The food is good, better than you’d expect from a sports pub/bar type joint. Lots of your standard as well as imported bottled beers to wash it all down with, and quite a few cocktails to boot. They also have sports on in here..unsurprisingly.
A nice break from the array of trendy bars surrounding the place

This place is so cool! It’s almost utterly random in it’s interior as well as the choice on the menu, but some how it seems to work.
Our table had such completely different dishes, from chicken fahitas to stuffed aubergines to deep fried cheese. All were really good!
The best thing about this place is if you come on one of your party’s birthdays. The owner has a special cassette tape he will most joyously whack on if he finds out you’re celebrating and his favourite song, which he likes to sing out at the top of his voice, is '21 Today’! Excellent!

Excellent place to venture if you’re in need of a dim sum hit. The swanky interior is nice if not a bit snobbish, but the food is lovely.
Had some great sui mai here, as well as some of the others things the menu has to offer. Recommend the deep fried squid - very tasty!
It’s often hard to choose where to come when you’re surrounded by so many in Chinatown, but this one always seems to shine.
