They don’t do peppered cheese at the Filton Subway and I feel the filling is just dumped on the sub/wrap so the fillings aren’t even. You either get a mouthful of meat or a mouthful of salad, not the best of both. At least they don’t count the gherkins like they do at the Kingswood Subway
! The best Subway I have been to so far in Bristol is the one in Bradley Stoke! There is a guy there with blonde hair and big blue eyes who wraps a wrap to perfection with out breaking it – which nearly always happens in every other Subway I go to. They also provide service with a smile, are helpful and they are not stingey with the salad. – Can’t find them on here to do a review on them though.

Today I went into Subway and asked for a Steak and peppered cheese wrap. All was going fine until I asked for gherkins. For some reason, the gherkins are now being counted, I got three. I asked for more gherkins, the lady replied, ’ I can give you two more gherkins, any more than that and I will have to charge you £1.20 extra and count it as a house salad’. I am appauled. You are still charging me the same amount of money for the wrap, but now I get less filling. It’s a 2mm thick slice of gherkin. I understand that you only give out so many slices of cheese per sub, unless the customer pays 50p extra, byt to count pieces of salad is pathetic, to say the least. I was told this is a ‘new regulation.’ Well, I think it sucks and I won’t be going back to your shop again. As far as I am aware, Subway is ‘franchised’. Who on earth made such a stingey decision? If I worked at your shop, I would be embarrassed to have to tell people that they can have a maximum of five gherkins before they will be charged. I will be writing in to complain to the manager about this too. What next?! Are you going to count the strands of red onion and peppers or even lettuce?
