Unless you fancy a trek down to Brighton (and who wants to do that when they're hungry?) , this is probably the best fish and chip place you are likely to find.
Now, being a bit of a Friday night fish-and-chip conoisseur I have been to a fair few London chippies all the way from Ladbroke Grove to London Bridge to London Fields and this is without a doubt the best of them. When we moved to the area last summer and found this place we were absolutely over the moon.
The guy who owns it is always super friendly and greets all the customers like regulars - well we probably all are! He lets you choose your own piece of cod and if the ones that are there have been out for a while he will fry you a fresh piece.
Cod in London can get ridiculously expensive but here you can get two pieces of decent-sized cod, two generous portions of chips (they let you do your own salt and vinegar) and two cans of Coke for £10.60.
So if you are ever in the area (or even if you aren't) check this place out and I promise you won't be disappointed.
