County Mall Shopping Centre - Crawley
County Mall, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 1FP
27-12-2008
The shopping centre is quite busy, mainly because i have been in the christmas period a few times. There are loads of shops, and it is much easier to find your way around than Croydons Whitgift Centre. The outside puts you off abit but inside is really nice, very big, airy.
Cargo Homeshop - Crawley
79-80 County Mall, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 1FD
27-12-2008
I went here recently to look for presents, there are lots of interesting kitchen items and rubber ducks. The staff werent very helpful, sometimes when i have been they were not there. Afew of the items didnt have prices, and those that did werent at very good prices.
McDonald's (Leisure Park) - Crawley
7 Crawley Leisure Park, London Road, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 8LR
23-12-2008
Looks quite crowded, filled with little kids with happy meals. There are about 6 cashiers, all who serve you politely and quickly, sometimed in quite a rushed manner. The food was really quick, (fast-food) and the shop was generally like any other macdonalds.
Snooks - Morden
32 The Market, Covent Garden, London SM1 3HE
22-12-2008
The shop was filled with toys and games. I got a nose pencil sharpener, a giant pencil, fart sweets, pens etc. There are stocking fillers, puppets, games, smiffys toys, stationary, teddies, london things like snowglobes, mouthspray etc, most jokes or tricks, The prices were good, also the girl at the till was kind, talked about christmas. all my friends admired what i had bought there.
Lush - Covent Garden
11 The Piazza, Covent Garden, London WC2E 8RA
22-12-2008
Exccelent service, all the staff are really friendly and chatty, the place is really well set out, everything has price labels, testers etc. A man showed me and a friend a product - which i immediately bought, the place they make them/ wash up is on show, great smells upstairs and downstairs. The store had everything in the free newspapers, both floors were clean, pretty and smelt great. you would think the mix of so many nice smells would make you sneeze, or smell sweet and sickly but they combines to make a nice smell.
Gatton Park Education Trust - Reigate
Gatton Park, Reigate, Surrey RH2 0TW
30-11-2008
Open on the first sunday of every month, and there are occasional other events such as theatrical events, christmas carol service and green fairs. They also can host parties, and there is a group for children with fun days out at gatton where they can find moths/ pond dip. The staff and gardeners are really friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful, and include a bamboo/ oriental garden, walled garden and rock garden (dangerous when wet).

The lady behind the counter gives me evils as i look around the shop at the millions of products - all i reckon went off about 2004, as the price labels are see through and yellowing, like they have beenstained with olive oil. The only reason i go in there is to pick up prescriptions from the rude lady behind the counter, as (agreeing with Seaxwyn) she shouts out my personal problem to the other lady to get the medicine. And i really am unsure what the window display is all about.
Peach Blossom Chinese Restaurant - Redhill
11 Hatchlands Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 6AA
30-11-2008
The staff were nice and very polite to us, the food was nice but not exeptional, and althought there were many tables there were not many customers and when i pass i see the staff looking out hopefully with maybe one family/ couple eating there. The food wasnt cheap either.
I much prefer a takeaway from China House, about 20 metres down the road, its cheaper and in my opinion nicer.
Thorntons - Redhill
Station Road, The Belfry, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1SE
30-11-2008
Thorntons is a great size and easily accesible with a pushchair/ wheelchair, although there are some child size stands, not a wise idea to bring children in there. They have an eccelent 'pic and mix’ section, and the ice crams are really nice.
The staff are kind and helpful, especially when i bought a personalised bar of chocolate. The gift wrapping service is brilliant also. A bit on the expensive side, but is worth it for the eccelent quality.
J Sainsburys - Redhill
Warwick Quadrant London Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1NN
30-11-2008
This branch of sainsburys is brilliant, easy to find things and cheap with good quality. They have a deli, a baker, a hot food section, a frozen food section, clothes , magazines, anything a normal branch has. There are helpful staff and well organised aisles. They have fresh fruit and veg, seasonal and not seasonal fruit, fresh mussels, fresh bread and many more items. Better service than other branches of sainsburys, but the staff in Crawley’s branch are nicer.
