Good food , really interesting flavours very friendly service, good decor - English resturant rather than the old over Chinessy style. We go regularly and are never disapointed.

The service was poor the food portions were very small - £24 for a steak two and half inches square with eight rocket leaves. The waitress do not even suggest 'would sir like vegetables with that?' When it arrived we all staired in amazment at this tiny piece of meat on a huge white plate! When we made a complaint the waitress shurgged her shoulders and walked away. On Trip Advisor site, half the comments say it is terrible and half say five star? I really believe that they must write the 'it was fantastic' reviiews themselves. We had a very bad time at La Strada and left hungry. Do not go, it is at best a very hit and miss experience. They are rude and uncaring and we had a very uncomfortable evening with our friends
