lovely beauty salon on the high street in johnstone. offers a wide range of standard and speciality beauty treatments at very reasonable prices.

the lady who owns the salon does all the treatments herself and i am always pleased with the results.

gift vouchers are available which would make the perfect christmas gift.

this place is a favourite of mine and my whole family!! we very often go at lunch time and the choice is extensive even though it is a set menu.

they do a buffet in the evening as well as a la carte menu, both of which is very reasonably priced.

the decor is classy and elegant and the staff are very attentive.

i have been to table table twice - the 1st was was a family meal (aboout 15 of us) and the 2nd was a freebie as the meal the 1st time was a bit of a disaster!

the food would have been lovely if it wasnt cold and we got what we actually ordered. they only had one waitress serving all of us which was very unfair on her. they redeemed their self on my 2nd visit though which makes me think it is just large parties that they struggle with.

all in all, good family place, reasonable prices and lovely decor. would recommend - just not for big families!!

i have been to romaulds a few times and although i was pleased with the results, this salon has a very production line feel to it. call me old fashioned but i would much rather have a hairdresser and a junior working on my hair than a washer, cutter, styler, colourist and dryer. and i felt each time i have been they push their beauty treatments on you (my last visit the colourist said i could do with getting my eyebrows done as they were a mess!! i havent been back since)

this salon is also much more expensive than the other hairdressers in the area.

i have been going to kenneth edwards for 2 years now and have fnally found a hairdressers that produces consistantly good results regardless who does your hair!!

i have never been disappointed with my hair and would highly recommend this salon. they have recently expanded the shop to fit in more stations so this just goes to show how popular this place is.

they often do promotions on colours and high lights making it a super bargain to get your hair done. normal prices are reasonable - half head of foils, cut and blow dry costing about £60.

the speciality being steaks, cooked to your taste and brought to your table with seperate sides including baked potatoes, onion rings, chips, mushrooms (which is all included in the price!)

for those not partial to steak, the menu offers a wide choice of other meats and vegetarian options.

great family place, which can accommodate large groups without issue.

the choice of buffet or menu - both of which very reasonably priced. personal faves of mine are garlic mushrooms with spicy potatoes and chicken tikka sizzlers.

friendly staff, lovely decor and a chilled atmosphere. all components of making a very pleasant evening out.

johnstones best kept secret!! lovely food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff - what more can you ask for? on par with any of the top italian restaurants you would find in glasgow, if not better due to very reasonalbe prices.

my personal faves are the homemade pate and mia casa penne. advice would be to book a table if you are visiting at a weekend as it is always busy.
