Pasha - Norwich

22 Bridewell Alley, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 1AQ

17-10-2008

This is a very funky little salon in the lanes of Norwich, As well as a hairdressers it has a beauty parlour and this is the part I’m reviewing as I’ve only had my nails done there.

Staff are very nice, if a little too cool for me! And the price for nails really not the expensive for Norwich. Well worth a try.

u treatments - Norwich

Norwich, Norfolk NR1 3DX

17-10-2008

U Treatments is run by Louise Thomas-Minns a mobile beauty therapist.

She is a skin specialist and is excellent at what she does, I had the hour long facial with her and it was amazing!

Norwich Market - Norwich

Norwich, Norfolk NR1 3DX

17-10-2008

Norwich Market is iconic, and has just had a bit of a makeover too.

Its a fab, undercover market with EVERYTHING for sale! From fruit to fabric and all sorts in between, its well worth a visit.

Only downside is that it is sometimes a little difficult to navigate as you easily get disorientated!

Drayton Road Post Office - Norwich

169 Drayton Road, Norwich, Norfolk NR3 2AA

07-10-2008

in the back of a multi purpose store, the post office is there for local residents. Its a nice little shop, the staff are friendly and they can deal with most post office issues!

Above The Fringe - Norwich

31 Orford Place, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 3QA

06-10-2008

really friendly, unpretentious hair salon. The girls are great, prices are cheap and I’ve never ever had a bad cut there.

You don’t have to make an appointment, they often do walk ins, but if you’d prefer to go with a specific hairdresser its best to call

Arcadia Gifts - Norwich

20 Royal Arcade, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 1NQ

06-10-2008

I used to work in a gift shop very similar to this in my hometown. Its a real treasure trove of presents and goodies and present ideas.

If you are ever stuck for a gift idea I strongly recommend this shop!

Hotel Chocolat - Norwich

113 Chapelfield, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 1SU

06-10-2008

heaven for chocoholics!
When Chapelfield first opened I was so excited when I was told there was a posh chocolate shop.

Its cool and has a wonderful sense of peace inside! Its like stepping out of the hustle and bustle into your own private shop.

Pricey, but a real treat - great if you don’t know what to buy for someone.

Boltz Wine Bar - Norwich

1 St John Maddermarket, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 1DN

06-10-2008

I really like the atmosphere in this place, its laid back without being rude.
I think its changed hands now, but it is a lovely little place hidden in the backstreets of norwich

Riverbank Chinese Buffet Restaurant - Norwich

Broadland Court Wherry Road, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 1WR

05-10-2008

All you can eat chinese! I actually really like it here, it is much better than the carpark based other all you can eat chinese in the city centre.

THe choice of food is quite good - with starters, mains and tepanyaki in the evening sitting and a bit less in the afternoon, but then it is cheaper. Also a rasnge of ice creams and fruit for dessert.

Staff quite quiet though, but very polite.

Cineworld - Huntingdon

Tower Field Leisure Park, Abbots Ripton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 7EG

05-10-2008

Cineworld was a bit of a let down sadly, it seems to be quite costly for what you get… which isn’t really a lot. I seem to remember the cinema being really cold and no hugely welcoming. It does have about 8 screens, something huntingdon had been seriously lacking with its singular screen!

It did used to have quite a good games room, but its been a while since I’ve been there.
