A one-stop shop for gorgeous cleansers, make-up and anything else you could wish to place on your dressing table or bathroom cabinet, Space NK holds all the luxurious brands you could ever need as well as their own fabulous products.

Laura Mercier, Nars, Eve Lom and Dr Hauschka are just a few of the carefully selected brands that make Space NK a reliable and enjoyable place to spend your hard-earned money. I love it there!

    Kiehl's since 1851

1pxt bethsquires last updated on 23-08-2007:

Established in New York in 1851, women the world over now trust their skin to Kiehls products. The simple packaging and old-world-apothecary feel to the stores imbues you with confidence that this company knows exactly what they’re doing when it comes to taking care of you.

Their body moisturiser Crème De Corps and hair styler Silk Groom are just two renowned products that show up again and again in best beauty product surveys. The friendly staff have an impressively full knowledge of the ranges and certainly don’t scrimp on the free samples when you buy for yourself or for others.

    Topshop

Catwalk copies fly off the shelves at Topshop, and whenever I visit I either love it or can't wait to get out of there... If you manage to get there midweek then it is a wonderful place to browse, floors of jewellery and accessories to vintage and rare designer pieces. However, try it at the weekend during a school holiday and beware - as teens knock you over to get their hands on the latest 'in' thing!

The staff are generally helpful and smiley, and you can even get your nails done and have a bite to eat at the cafe whilst you're there.

Generally the quality of clothing items is about as good as you can expect for the price, and you'll be sure to come out of there with something new as the range of styles holds something to suit almost everyone.

Well worth a visit if you're in North West London - Carmelli's is reknowned for their pastry treats and to-die-for bagels. Pop in at lunchtime and try their pre-filled bagels for lunch, they're divine and a fortnightly must for me!
Service is changeable, from angry to helpful, but you can guarantee that whatever you buy here you'll enjoy and recommend!!!

    Royal Albert Hall

A stunning building, inside and out with an atmosphere to match. I sat high up and was wowed not only by the concert I took in, but the view of others partaking in the same experience.

Stepping into the cafeteria-like snack halls displaces the sense of grandeur but only for a second, as when you return to the main hall it's forgotten. I highly recommend visiting the RAH.
