If you need anything in Hardware, Gardening, Decorating, Homewares and Toiletries and want value for money then this is the place to visit. It can get very busy and parking can be a problem, especially at lunch time. The staff are generally helpful.

A nice selection of beers and the food looked pretty good, the two young french ladies who had obviously just come off the eurostar were enjoying it. Lots of screens showing different sports and news channels. A good place to meet if you come into London via Euston, St Pancras or Kings Cross.

You can get a really nice pint of “Pride” straight from the barrel as well as a “Betjeman” Ale. The food here is not bad if a little pricey - I was a bit surprised to find that what was advertised as “A Pie and a Pint for £7” turned out to be a small pork pie!!!

I read Andy and Rob’s reviews and just had to have a look. This is now one of my home pages when I start IE but it opens after Qype (of course). For anybody who uses the Tube this is a great blog. Qype just needs a category for BLOGs now, so come on guys.

I really am not very keen on this place although the food is cheap. I guess you get what you pay for on the food but my biggest problem is that you cannot get anything other than the basic keg beers. So, if you want cheap food this may be the place for you but if you care for your beer stay away.

If there is sports equipment that you cannot get at your high street shop then this is the place to try. If you play for a local club they will often give you a discount but their prices are competitive anyway. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and as well as selling from the shop they have a very good website. They also do club kits and will customise anything from clothing to footballs for your club.

The staff in this PO ar particularly friendly and helpful. One of the best things about the shop is the counter by the door that means if you only want a card, stationary or even a stamp you don’t have to queue with those at the PO counter

A good place to pop when you run out of something. Like all these type of stores they are a little more pricey than the supermarket but the convenience makes up for that, plus they often have offers on items that make them even cheaper. This store has recently been refurbished and as a result is better than your average local shop.

A great take away for breakfast cobs, they do really big ones they call dustbin lids. You can get freshly made rolls as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks such as crisps and sausage rolls. They open early morning and close at 1pm.
