Dublin Airport, Dublin

Have flown Ryanair quite a few times. The planes are clean and look pretty well maintained if not always the latest version of the 737. I have never had ny problems, but then I don’t expect unreasonble levels of service, you pay for what you get. My tip is try if at all possible to fly with just a carry on board, it is faster cheaper & simpler. You do have to be careful when using the website to make certain you only buy what you intend. Also a good tip is that Stanstead at 5:45 am is so packed with Ryanair flyers it can be frighteningly crowded, so just relax & remember there is always another plane, and that their flights go from the far right hand section of the airport.

Possibly Dublins premier nosher, though The U2 Clarence hotel runs equal for food & wine quality. Reminds me of early days at Spago’s in L.A. when your entrance could be 'staged’.
Bustling at lunch time and slightly dauntingly expensive looking compared to the other Dublin places I have eaten at.
It is light and airy inside. 'Works of art’ walls. Exciting.
Initially a little reserved, the staff worked them selves up to a really co-operative team and we had a splendid lunch.
Wines were a little overpriced (that is always the problem when you have your own cellar) but we managed to get by and drink well.
The food was very good and we really enjoyed it.
I suspect you’d have to be a Dublin insider to spot the other eaters, but off you go.
