The Golden Fleece, has been completely refurbished this this last review, this was carried out in Feb 2010. The pub has been given a modern feel, whilst retaining many of the orginal features at the same time. It has a good food reputation in the daytime and offers fresh home cooked traditional food which is reasonably pirced. At the weekends it often has live entertainment and caters for all age groups. There are many drinks promotions on offer throughout the week again offering good value for money. The beer garden has had a makover too with new seating and the decking has been renovated providing a comfortable seating area to enjoy a meal or drink in the summer months. There is ample parking and is ideally situated for all the town centre shops.
