One of my all time London favourites. Great tasting, daily changing, excellently prepared, well sourced and sometimes unusual food. Great value, quirky venue, nice crowd, friendly staff. Bring-your-own is the cherry on the cake as it means you can grab an excellent bottle from the city beverage company rather than spending excessively on alcohol. Only minor downside is that you probably need to avoid the 1-115 bottle neck as the menu then shrinks by 130…not always too bad though as sometimes they throw the odd special back in.

Stopped in for a drink and a bite mid afternoon. Service was friendly and accommodating, bar food excellent and well priced. Pub was pretty with warm appearance and decor. The only downside for me was the carpet and seating/tables in the bar area which were not so comfortable and inviting (modern wood, not enough warm/worn leather sofas). Minor point otherwise an excellent choice. Would have loved to have stayed to try full evening menu.

If you enjoy cheese this is the place to come. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the selection varied and of great quality. The smell….delicious!

Not interested in wrestling? Think again…think of an adult Punch & Judy crossover with cabaret entertainment, crazy characters indulging in painful masked wrestling mayhem, lycra clad ladies, blood baying crowd banging fists on the ring…sometimes mad things do and will happen…but you probably won;t remember much. The Resistance Gallery is a great little, hidden away venue run by a friendly crew…the crowd is mixed and unpretentious. If I could recommend one place to visit in London…this would be it.

This place sums up what is best about London. Unusual, quirky, hidden away venue. Unpretentious and effortlessly cool set up. Young knowledgeable and friendly staff. Simple but excellent quality and well prepared menu (food and drink). Mixed aged and type of crowd. Could it be better? Only if they opened for breakfast and I lived next door!

A real gem…almost perfect variety and quality of food/drink and lack crowd…only the Kernel brewery had an insane queue!

Competitively priced properties bang in the middle of Shoreditch but that’s as good as it gets. Arrogant, aggressive, rude, frequently poor service that falls below a basic duty of care towards their tenants. If you can afford to pay a little bit more and use another local agent you are advised to do so.

Well prepared, quality, straightforward food. Busy evenings even the bar. Probably best full English breakfast and burgers in London. Let downs? Sometimes difficult to choose a dish as occasionally nothing stands out on the menu and service is frequently poor.

Great little place, good cocktails, good beers, snacks, decor and nicely priced. Shame about the rude attitude : – (
Come early in week and early in evening, preferably summer (so you won’t need to have booked) and never come in a suit (even if you are regular). Better still head to Casita bar on Ravey street!

Below par even by usual estate agent standards. Lack of honesty and integrity. Pushed 18 month contracts on us even claiming it was the norm and that potential tenants had requested this even though we had explicitly requested to the contrary. Keatons then told potential tenants we as landlords were only allowing 18 month contracts! The only explanation is that they are after all their commission upfront (with short rate applied if contract cancelled of course). I’m sure we weren’t the only ones this would have happened to. There is only one way to describe this kind of behaviour and the recommendation is to avoid them at all costs. There are plenty of other nasty things that occurred but the above sums up their methods to a tee.
