Iceland.co.uk - Liverpool

1 Wavertree Road, Liverpool, Merseyside L7 1PE

29-11-2008

My favourite frozen food shop . . . great prices and good food quality, even the shops own brand. I wouldn’t buy non frozen food here though as it’s pricey compared to say Asda.

Iceland Foods - Mossley Hill

158 Allerton Road, Liverpool, Merseyside L18 2DH

You can’t beat Iceland to fill your freezer without spending an arm and a leg. Not a lot of good for non freezer bits as they tend to be expensive.

Aldi - Liverpool

281 SMITHDOWN ROAD, Liverpool, Merseyside L15 2LQ

29-11-2008

Like the bargains Aldi often has on offer so it’s good to pop in for a little look, but i’d not do a whole weeks shop here as i don’t like a lot of their tins and squashes. Nice cheeses though!

Netto - Liverpool

Wavertree Road, Liverpool, Merseyside L7 5LZ

29-11-2008

I wouldn’t do my whole weeks food shop here but i always pop in if i’m passing. It’s fantastic for those on a budget and people after a few bargains. Cheap is the order of the day although the prices arn’t offered by reducing the food quality, because it’s excellent. Especially good for biscuits and freezer fillers!

Tesco Stores - Liverpool

Mather Avenue, Liverpool, Merseyside L18 6HF

29-11-2008

Great supermarket, where i do all my food shopping and a fair amount of my kids clothes shopping too. Nice and cheap, without being rubbish quality. There are always some fab bargains and offer items as well as just all round low prices.

Argos - Liverpool

Unit 3a New Mersey Retail Park, Speke Road Speke, Liverpool, Merseyside L24 8QB

Good old Argos - all the xmas pressies you could ever need all under the one roof! The largest range of goods of any high street shops i can think of. Also a check and resrve option online so you know if they have what you want before you go. Great value for money and you always know what you are getting with Argos.

Pizza Hut - Liverpool

New Mersey Retail Park, Speke Road Speke, Liverpool, Merseyside L24 8QB

29-11-2008

If you’ve been in one pizza hut, you’ve been in them all. Good grub for a decent price. Not exactly posh nosh, but ideal for a cheapish family bite to eat - kids always love it.

Sports Soccer - Liverpool

3 New Mersey Retail Park, Speke Road Speke, Liverpool, Merseyside L24 8QB

Cheap rubbish i think. The clothes are naff quality with some awful brands stocked too. The only half decent goods are the trainers - sometimes - and only then if they have your size in stock which is most unlikely! I’d give it a miss if you’ve any sense as there are far superior sports shops around.

Accessorize - Liverpool

7 Parker Street, Liverpool, Merseyside L1 1DJ

29-11-2008

Great shop for buying a loved one a gift. My partner spends fortunes in there regularly and i never fail to impress her with a birthday/xmas gift from here. Huge range with something to suit every taste, whether old or young fat or thin etc. Staff are very professional and always willing to help. I think it’s a bit expensive but then being a man, I would!

Ted Baker - Liverpool

Button Street, Liverpool, Merseyside L2 6PS

29-11-2008

Fabulous clothes for both men and women. Classy, classic and excellent quality - you can’t go wrong with Ted Baker clothing. I’ve given peices as gifts as well as bought clothes for myself here - all of which have stood the test of time. I can’t recommend it enough. Although a little on the expensive side it’s worth reigning in your spending for a month or two then paying a visit here - you will not be disappointed!
