excellent fish and chip restaurant - good food always freshly cooked. wonderful staff with a friendly atomosphere and always busy - which is a good sign!!
children welcome and catered for too. good value for your money.
and you can always have a respectable glass of wine if you wish - they also do other foods - just in case you're not a 'fish' eater. the desserts are quite old-fashioned but lovely - even got jelly and ice-cream!!
also close to the Theatres - so handy for a pre-theatre meal

best steak in Sussex. we even drove down from Heathrow recently after a 9 hour flight!! steak Dianne is always the best. have been onto other sites and its a shame that half of the reviews aren't about this restaurant - so beware...
the decor is pretty 'old-fashioned' but that's part of the charm I think. And the staff have allways been more than friendly and accommodating. We are taking my parents there to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary... Quite large meals too - so you are getting good value for your money.
