Notting Hill Carnival - Notting Hill
Notting Hill, London W11 1BW
27-08-2008
Fro people in my age group or younger feared to go carnival as most gangs of youths went to fight or rob buti went never the less with a group of my mates and we enjoyed it the police calmed and volience before it erupted and where kindly stoppin and searching everyone they thought were suspicious which showed they where alert however they also got involed posing for photographs, dancing and that gave it a community feel as everyone was dancing and getting along
Prince Albert - Camden
163 Royal College Street, Camden, London NW1 0SG
27-08-2008
I went here with my family after its new makeover and was truly amazed i had never had a nicer time in the pub and my family are very fussy when it comes to eating out but they never had one complaint so i take that as a good sign and would definity recommend it as its clean and the staff aim to please as much as they can
The Hawley Arms - Camden
2 Castlehaven Road, Camden, London NW1 8QU
27-08-2008
The Hawley Arms USED to be a pub before it turnt into more of a wine bar and there was always a lively atmosphere and entertainment with staff alert and ready to take orders.
it was unfortunate that so early nito there renovation to a wine bar that the camden fire burnt it down
The Pirate Castle - Camden
Oval Road, Camden, London NW1 7EA
27-08-2008
A youth club i once attended although it has vastly improved since thne but they teach kids about the canal aswell as how to survive and boat on the canal, the Pirate castle looks like a castle but you would never think that they would teach boating skills as i thought the didnt but it is a fun and safe way for kids to learn and it gets them off the streets so i recommend it
The Disney Store - Westminster
98+99 Whitgift Centre, London CR0 1US
27-08-2008
Well i never knew there was a disney store so when i spotted one in watford shoppping centre i was amazed and dashed right in and was amazed at the detail and time that had gone into this shop to make it a child friendly haven, okay it’s a little pricey but then you will get a branded bag to show where you shopped from.
London Transport Museum - Covent Garden
39 Wellington Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 7BB
20-08-2008
(updated on 26-08-2008)
i have been here very intriging but it is not for a whole day out as there is not many form s of transport to look over but the museum does back onto the canal and for a small fee you can take a canal boat ride it is good but will not suffice someone for a day trip. inside there is rooms eached filled with a piece or form of transport that was used or is still in use in london
MartinSA This sounds like the museum of confusion! Maybe they all blurr into one. London Canal Museum does have boat trips on certain days, and does back onto the canal, but does not cover forms of transport other than canal transport, although it does have a lot about horses which of course were used on canals and the streets.

Camden Best Kebab - Marylebone
79 Camden High Street, London NW1 7JL
26-08-2008
oh my i have to agree there chips are nice but the donor meat seems to contain more oil and grease than lamb. however on a late night looking for a quick kebab you probably wont notice anyway. Also it has a free delivery service which i had never seen in a kebab shop before.
Acland Burghley School - Kentish Town
93 Burghley Road, London NW5 1UJ

Primark Stores - Hackney
365 Mare Street, London E8 1HY
24-08-2008
Quality clothes for cheap prices how good can it get
Primark do have a whole range of clothes from tracksuits to suits for a low price and they are stylish and will not rip or tear without a fight
99p Store - Walthamstow
259 High Road, Walthamstow, London E17 7BH
24-08-2008
I was always embarressed about going to the 99p store but i was dragged in there by a friend and i must say i was shocked some of the stuff they sell have highly respectable brands for a penny less than a pound so i was shocked and if you have never visited one and are reading this review i suggest you take a trip to your nearest local 99p store and be amazed.
