News Cafe - Marbella
Marbella
17-10-2008
News Cafe are rivalling Sinatra and Salduba for the number of drinkers spilling over into the street, this creates a nice al fresco party atmosphere and the introduction of the Go-Go dancers gives something different! . All in all a good venue, but watch out for the drinks prices, you won’t get much change from 30 euro for 2 x spirit and mixers !
Laguna Village - Marbella
Marbella
17-10-2008
Laguna Village is great, it’s a lot more relaxing than Nikki Beach or Ocean Club with more tranquil music and surroundings. However, make sure you take your very best swim shorts or bikini and pack your credit card. This is the place to be seen, but exclusivity doesn’t come cheap at this latest hot spot !
red pepper - Marbella

Red Pepper is something of a legend in the port and after eating there I can see why. Home made ingredients which only make it to the kitchen once approved by the owner who sits at his table at the front of the restaurant every day of the year, tasting ingredients and ensuring they are good enough to put his name to them! Great typical greek fayre with excellent dips and breads to start. My friends talk about the shoulder of lamb being 'To Die For’ , not being a lamb fan myself I will have to take their word for it.
The Robin Hood - Marbella

Not the most extensive menu, only about twelve traditional British dishes but there appears to be something for everyone. On the last visit we had lamb shanks which were tenderly cooked and tasted really good. Nice outside garden terrace to the rear, really friendly staff.
Restaurant Zen - Marbella
Marbella

Around 3-4 minutes walk from Puerto Banus, easy to park and get there. Tasted food and nice sushi, lighter options available. Reasonable prices. Specilly nice for me on summer out on the terrace.
Jaipur Purple Indian Restaurant - Marbella
Marbella

Indian food that combines the traditional and the contemporary. I can’t describe how good the mixed tandoori dish is here. Even if you are staying in Puerto Banus it is worth a visit down here as the food is fantastic. Fingers crossed they will re-open Jaipur Pink in Puerto Banus again soon !
Love to Eat - Marbella
Marbella

I tend to head into Love To Eat from time to time to get some lunch on the go. Id recommend their ’’love club’’ wraps - only 8 euros and they’re always fresh and prepared quickly by their friendly staff. Parking is good and its so easy to find - just opposite the Marbella Club Hotel which is handy. The staff are always really friendly and the food is fantastic.
Vista Del Mar - Marbella
Marbella

An independent restaurant that is passionate about food and drink. Quality informal gourmet food at sensible prices and offer a range of fabulous wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks set in a truly tropical setting overlooking the Med, with the roar of the sea in the background. Really nice place to go for some great food.
La Taberna Del Pintxo - Marbella
Avd. Miguel Cano, N.7,, Puerto Banus : C/ Ramon Areces s/n,, Marbella
09-10-2008
The great cuisine offered at La Taberna del Pintxo may be described as a fusion between the cuisines of the north and south of Spain. La Taberna del Pintxo revolves around a wide-ranging menu containing the specialities of the brand, such as the warm pintxos, cold pintxos, stews, homemade deserts and a wide selection of wines. It’s a great place to have a lovely meal.
Puro Beach's - Marbella
Marbella
09-10-2008
Puro Beach mixes the human need for health and spirituality during the day and a vibrant party mood by night. It’s a great place to me some great people an have a good time doing it. Activity starts in the morning with Sunrise Yoga, meditation activities and breakfast. DJ’s spin guests into a smooth state of mind from early afternoon until late night while guests worship the sun on the terrace sun beds, have a salad by the sea or lounge in the shade of its interiors filled with inviting low sofas and puff chairs. A Sunset Ceremony kicks off the evening and an exotic party setting, complete with music, food and drinks, will continue well into the night.
Well worth a visit.
