clairewoods2009's Qype profile

I've only just signed up so hopefully I'm doing this right, I use qype to look through reviews but hadn't needed to comment until today!  I've just had my hair done by Denise and rushed home to write up a review.  I used qype to find a hairdressers that seemed to have a positive atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, Sharon Robertson's salon seemed to tick all the boxes so I went along in person to book.  Denise had a little time before her next appointment so she sat me down and talked through the options of the restyle I was wanting.  I left feeling very confident that she knew what I was after.  Making the appointment and popping in also was a really easy going thing, I've been put off in the past when I've gone in somewhere and they don't even look up from their work!

So the salon was great, the massage chairs at the hair washing bit were fab! The decor was really tasteful, nice and elegant but I didn't feel out of place in my work clothes.  The girls made me feel really at ease and the coffee/treats were a lovely touch.  Denise's skills were shown throughout the cut and she made suggestions as we went, I was happy with almost all of them and we went ahead (except that I wanted parts of my fringe kept long and that was no problem for her either!).  After the brilliant "glam blowdry" I felt like a movie star and haven't stopped 'swishing' my hair since I got it done.  The price was very reasonable, she's got a lot of experience and I felt so wonderful afterwards.  I'll definitely be back for the highlights we talked about and this is definitely my new salon from now on.
