Melanium is such a brilliant hair and beauty place. i’ve been going there for years now and have found someone who knows exactly how i like my hair done. charlotte is really good at blow drying and making me feel glamorous for a night out. i recently had highlights done and they’re lovely and natural looking. thier prices are really good as well considering they are top quality. i can’t believe i used to spend so much more money at toni and guy! they also have a brilliant beautician called Sima who is great at waxing - and again at really good prices. Go to Melanium next time you need pampering!

good health shop, really needed in bethnal green. helpful staff and reasonable prices. they have such a massive range of teas you could be there hours! great for healthy snacks for adults and kids. also do stuff like eco washing up liquid. more people in the area need to shop here!

i love massinghams! been going here since i was little and i always end up getting something when i go in. the woman in there also does good spray tans but i’m yet to try that yet.. next time. i love the dior counter and they also have good sale bits too.

nice pub. chilled atmosphere, more trendys have invaded over the years but you still have a few dedicated eastenders who come here. they have nice big leather sofas and good music playing too. i like it here in the summer as a little crowd usually gathers around the chairs for a ciggie or two. its just out of the main bethnal green bit, in quite a quiet road so theres never any trouble. favourite pub in bethnal green.

really nice cafe. really relaxing atmosphere as its connected to the buddist centre. the soups are really nice, my favourite has been carrot and sweetcorn! good for those who are trying to be healthy - everything is vegetarian. nice addition to bethnal green.

nice little shop, great for presents and homewares. i always leave with a little something. theres a few nice shops along that row - health shop, clothes shop, cafes. nice!

I’ve been going to Rockafella for years to buy my boyfriend clothes and presents and i always leave with a few bits and he really likes them - every time. the two bosses are really helpful, telling me the best brands at the moment and they have a wide range of stuff from smart to casual and sporty. my boyfriends been loving the franklin and marshall gear they’ve had in recently. another bonus is that they have a womens shop called Blush connected to the mens so i always treat myself to something after getting my boyfriends stuff. the girl in there is also really helpful, picking stuff out for me. don’t know what the first guy’s talkin about, he must work for milk and honey! rockafella’s a great shop - i recommend it.
