Got a takeaway from here tonight. The best California roll I've had in this country. Some other pieces were a bit over riced though. Ok value (it's sushi, so it's going to be expensive but I do feel a little under full for what I paid) quick delivery time. I was surprised there'd be such a good sushi joint in hornsey. I'll be going to the restaurant itself when I'm feeling flush.

There was a mouse that came running out of the kitchen. Staff were unapologetic and slow anyway. Toilets were in a state. Overall making this the worst, but naturally funniest restaurant trip ever. It was a case of "how can this get any Worse?" I'm so glad I didn't take a date here.

Great cafe, lovely decor, great coffee and cake. Light bites too. Food isn't cheap, but it's pretty good. Keep in mind it's a cafe not a restaurant or a pub. Very 'muswell hill middle class' So not really a place for drinking lots of booze (closes early and atmosphere isn't right). It does do events, though I haven't attended any. Comedy, live music, craft workshops and that kind of thing.

Slow service very overpriced and horrific quality. I got a new rear tyre installed (it only took 3 hours) on my 125 and the idiot who did the job didn't tighten the bloody bolt properly. Next day I end up stuck on the side of the A12 in the rain with a rear wheel I can move horizontally with one hand. NEVER AGAIN. Go to Burwin's around the corner for proper service from passionate people at a much better price.

This is just a bit of a dodgy place. I've heard from a few female friends that have been hassled by staff and have had them try and rip me-- give me the wrong change a few times. The food is standard takeaway. The döner meat is often not from the rotisserie thing, just microwaved out of the fridge. Burgers are nice enough. Fair prices and hit-and-miss delivery times. When TJ's is shut this is my backup.

Scream chain pub. Great for drinks not so much for food. Of the 6 or 7 times I've ordered food, with 4 of those there were problems. It was either cold, wrong, bad tasting or undercooked. It tastes like it costs... Cheap. But they put on a cracking pub night and the setting is great. Inside an old canal barge with a retractable roof for summer, an outdoor pool table and plenty of heated, covered outdoor seating. The staff are quick and friendly, the drinks are cheap and they do some nice mixed drinks (to call them cocktails would be too much). No proper ales though. I've never been here for drinks and had a bad time.

This place has had a massive renovation since the age of redfearne. It now has an o2 academy with three rooms. The main space is renovated to look just like every other SU in the country ("ooh look at our fancy sofas"). It boasts a Starbucks, rymans , SU run shop and restaurant. There is a bank and some sort of gift shop tucked away in the corners too. All of the student services (finance, welfare, housing etc.) are in the old part of the building and I don't know anyone who has had an issue with them. The SU bar is called the scholar and is downstairs. Cheap pints, bad food at disproportionately high prices, but they put on a good theme night there.

Standard bad club/chart music, macho guys starting fights and jealous girls shouting at their mates. Smoking area is good. Drinks and prices aren't. Takes so long to get a drink you could sneak in at age 12 and be able to present valid ID by the time you got served. Bouncers treat you like you just punched their mum. My least favourite club in Leicester.

It's tough to give 3* to a club which serves pints in proper pint glasses sub £3, but the acoustics really tore my ears to shreds the last few times. Mosh is the only club I go to in leicester because acceptable music outnumbers shite 2:1 (I'm talking to you bottom floor). It's nothing new for London, but in Leicester it's a breath of fresh air.
