You can have a nice walk up the hill to get to Petrin park and the Petrin tower. The hill can be very steep at certain points, but when it’s not wet and rainy, it’s a very nice walk.
The Petrin Tower is situated on top of the hill. The tower has two platforms. You can buy a ticket, and take the elevator or just climb up the stairs.
It’s always very windy at the top of the tower, but from there the view over Prague and the Vltava river is marvellous.

Nice restaurant and a very warm ambiance inside. The menu was quite large, so it took me a while to make a choice, it all seemed very delicious.
The waitress was really friendly and the service was very good.
The restroom was very small though, you couldn't even sit straight.
The food was good, and the portions were just okay, not too large but definitely not too small.

Wonderful square surrounded by beautiful old and colourful buildings. Always crowded with tourists. The square is always perfectly kept clean. It's also very pretty at night when the lights light up the square and the surrounding buildings.

A very unusual type of clock, but beautiful to see. Every hour on the hour, you can see the little puppets perform a dance. It attracts many tourists.
You can find the clock at the Old Town Square, which is also very wonderful to see. Surrounded by old colourful buildings.

One of the best bars I've been to in Prague. It gets crowded over here after 2am because this place closes early in the morning, while many other pubs close around 2am.
Music is mostly rock minded, but they also play many 80's, 90's songs. All very familiar so people often sing along with the songs. I only saw happy and smiling people over here, cause the atmosphere was just great.
Cocktail lovers will also enjoy this place. They also serve huge cocktails over here. I've seen a bacardi coke that must have been about 10 litres.
Very recommendable, I will definitely come back here soon!

This club offers live music regularly. When I went here, there was a Nirvana cover band playing. The atmosphere in this place is very good. Many smiling people who are having good laughs and drinks while enjoying the music.
When you get into the club, there's a bar on your right hand side. Then a bit to the left there's the stage, with room for the crowd, to dance and enjoy the music. Then to the back, there are plenty of tables and chairs where you can sit down. The prices of the drinks are quite low compared to other clubs, especially when you realise that you're in the city center of Prague.
This place has a free Wifi connection, which is also a very big plus for tourists like me, because roaming data transfer can be quite expensive.
If you're a rock/blues/folk music minded person, this club is definitely something for you.

Karlův most, 110 00 Praha

Karlův most or Charles bridge was originally built under supervision of King Charles IV and it crosses the Vltava river.
The bridge is beautiful, as well as the view from the bridge over the river. The tower on the Old Town side, is often considered to be one of the most astonishing civil gothic-style buildings in the world. I was told that the statues on the sides, are the guards of the bridge.
It's one of the touristical attractions in Prague, and there are a lot of artists and painters, who can make you a portrait or a caricature drawing.

The Hard Rock Cafe in Prague is located at a wonderful spot, not far from the Old Town Square. The VJ ROTT building looks fabulous on the outside, with its well painted colours. On the inside, the guitar shaped chandelier above the bar is also very impressive.
Some people say that HRC is about the same everywhere in the world, but to me the HRC in Prague makes me feel at home.
The staff are always friendly, as you would expect from their slogan: "love all, serve all".
The HRC has smoking and non smoking sections, so people don't have to go outside for a smoke, what would lead to blocking the entrance or the passway.
I also love the fact that they serve their local beer brand, and the prices here are very affordable. Very recommendable to visit if you're in Prague.

Not really my kind of club. Starting from 22.00, every hour the waitresses will give a little performance by dancing on the bar. The show was nice, but short. I think I expected too much from what I've heard about this club. Wide variety of cocktails. But disappointed that they served Budweiser instead of local Czech beer.

Biggest club in central Europe. 5 floors with different types of rooms and different types of music. So if you don't like the music on one floor you can just go to another floor. Atmosphere is great but the club looks better from the outside than from the inside.
