Been a few times and it used to be quite good. This time though nothing went right. Despite the fact that it was very quiet it took almost 45 mins to get food. We also had a dirty knife and fork which were stuck to the napkins, these were changed when when we complained. When it came time to pay their card machine wouldn’t work so we had to use their cash machine which charged us £1.50 for the privilege. (to be fair they did give us a refund). We only visited here today because of good experiences in the past. In future we shall now thick twice. It’s a shame actually as the food was quite good.

Great place to meet after finishing work and going out for the evening. The pre theatre menu is great value and has very attentive and friendly staff.

Probably the best country park in the glasgow area. Although it is obviously managed it still has a ‘wild’ feel about it. It can be accessed directly from Milngavie by following the West Highland Way for about 2 miles through moorland which seamlessly joins onto the the park. Go early in the morning or late in a summers evening when it is quiet and you will have the opportunity to see all sorts of wildlife.
