I used to love China Buffet King because they did Tofu and Lotus Root (both great for vegetarians like me, and hard to get in Northern Ireland). they served it in garlic sauce and it was my favourite. but now they put it in a oyster sauce!! why would you put Tofu and Lotus Root which is soooo appealing to vegetarians, in a sauce made from a fish sauce? Bad move. I rarely go back.
emmacaulfieldlv I know I was very annoyed, because I told some other vegetarians to go there, and then they went and were annoyed at me for telling them to go somewhere that puts a staple of the vegetarian diet into FISH sauce. Anytime I hear people are going, I tell them to look out for the tofu for me to see if they have gone back to the garlic sauce.
