Really great coffee, well rounded taste in all formats but my favourite is their piccolo, a mini-milk over espresso glass, expertly made. The grilled cheese sandwiches look proper.

I'm a self confessed bread enthusiast and this place is a complete life-saver for us along the SW/SE borders. All the bread is sough dough and my favourite is the italian wood-oven baked loaf. It might look a bit blackened on the outside, but the crust is spectacular and the inside soft and very much the right kind of chewy. I'm hooked.

Great place, I wish there was something similar in west dulwich. The coffee needs improving on though, the one I had this morning bore little relation to the real thing.

Oh dear. The only way this could get worse is if the salads contained iceberg lettuce, at least the romaine lettuce is decent. But how do you get capers to taste of….. nothing? Potatoes to taste of old leather? Cheap and nasty, I would say, but pricey with it.

saraheliza hmm, I'm not sure what kind of 'haute cuisine' you are used to but Tossed is anything but cheap and nasty. You must have made a bad salad choice as I have eaten there hundreds of times and not once been disappointed. Perhaps you should give it another chance.

johnpenn30 Horrible place to eat. staff are incredibly unfriendly and it's a chore just going there with employees being so unhelpful and stuck up.food and drinks are very expensive and is not worth going there. food was served in an ugly way and didn't taste nice. it should be shut down and bring Crussh or something better here. Crussh is wayy better.

This is the place that I have been waiting for in our work zone. Lovely AND open on Saturdays. Not cheap, it’s true, but I think you get what you pay for; high quality ingredients and well-executed dishes, and friendly service. A great start to the day when you have to work at the weekend.
