Fairly extortionate coffee at the Starbucks of CPH, Baresso. It’s nice here, and sandwiches are good, but beware if there’s a queue. Woo!

PRivera Hello Phil…this is Peter Rivera, former lead singer and drummer of Rare Earth.
I’m reaching out to you to ask if anyone out there knows how I could hook up with someone in Europe who deals with booking me and my band. I want to come there and play (showcase) in 7 or 8 stratigec venues. NO CHARGE!! I would need backline and sound. I would like to play for the maximum exposure in places like Germany, Amsterdam, France, etc. I’m looking for “where the action is”. I believe that once we played there we would create the possibility of returning often… any help would be appreciated.
My web is: www.peterivera.com…thanks!

Asklepios Klinik St. Georg - St. Georg

I can't really rate the Hospital St. Georg any less than 5 stars since the staff here saved my life just before Christmas! It was a great present for sure. Initially I saw mostly the roof of the building as I was wheeled round on a stretcher somewhat out of it. As the painkillers wore off before surgery I was pleased that I seemed to get bumped to the top of the operations queue when they were finally certain about the diagnosis - the appendix had to come out. Sadly with no specalists on hand they couldn't do keyhole surgery so I've got the standard scar which may throw my modelling career into disarray. The stitches look neat enough though, and I can eat again.
Bonus points for helping me lose 5KG in a week!

The burger is huge and fairly delicious, but the atmos is nothing to write home about. Haven't tried the ajoining steakhouse yet.

Weird. Weird, weird, weird, weird, weird. There's a sort of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom-theme going on here, which is weird. They serve drinks out of volcanos (don't have one), and bizarre monkey cups (don't have that one either). It's full of very, very drunk Norwegian girls, and, that's the end of this review.

Great bar with period decor on Vesterbrogade. We usually end up here to cheer on FC København in the Champions league, in which case get in early to get a table where you can have dinner too. The goulash and the burger are highlights.

Excellent choice for Sunday brunch if you're in CPH. Great setting by the lakes, and only 89DKK for an all-you-can-eat spread that has a bit of everything. In fact, I'm quite hungry just thinking about it now.

I'm consistently amazed every time I come to Falernum, and lately that's been at least once a week. Amazed firstly that wine can be so expensive, but also that the quality of the food and the awesome atmosphere makes you forget that so quickly. Service can be hit and miss, always opt for a day when either 3 staff are on, or make sure to sit at the bar.

One of the better kebab houses I've tried in CPH, and I would argue the best on Nørrebrogade. The lamb shish is tasty, if a little on the small side. This isn't "Woody Grill", but it's a respectable wrap none the less.
