Used to be the best in town and very foreign friendly. Staff changed around 2009, now shockingly bad at front desk and personal accounts. (Good experiences with business accounts however.) Our relationship ended in yelling match with the horrible accounts person (Catherine Roncin) and a terse letter sent by the manager later telling me to go elsewhere. Have heard similar experiences with others, seems I am not alone. Terrible terrible terrible!!!!! Makes you really wonder how they manage to stay in business.

Standard crappy French beer and the occasional stabbing. Sometimes smells like pee. Friendly bar staff and low lighting hide the grubbiness. Open even on Tuesdays in November. Pool table. Funny ski bum local expat vibe. Total sausagefest. Highly recommended.

Overpriced but reasonably strong and well mixed drinks. 1990s techno on a great sound system. Not a ski bum or French person in sight. We preferred the decor before the remodel, but in short, a five star place to hang out.

Worth the drive there for friendly and sound medical advice. More than adequate English spoken.

Excellent sense of humor, solid medical advice. You may find him a bit too odd, but he really took the overseriousness out of our pregnancy and made things fun. Consistently 1-2 hours late – show up 15ins late, ask how bad the queue is, then have a tea in C9 across the street instead of waiting there.

Ran like a branch of the government, because it in fact is! Should be obvious this is not a place to voluntarily do business (e.g. Banking) although if mailing a letter never had a bad experience. They didn’t even bother to call us back when we asked repeatedly for a quote on a property loan and their online banking and way of working for personal accounts will make you think it’s 1970 in Moscow. (Although they’re STILL better than banque laydernier…)
