Gulbenkian Theatre - Canterbury
University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent CT2 7NB
16-01-2009
This is located on the University of Kent campus about 5 minutes from the town centre, 10 on a busy day or during rush hour. Often full of both students and citizens alike, it’s a nice place to go to see a quality show or a comedian. In the past people such as Tim Minchin and Jimmy Carr have performed in this theatre, and have always packed it out so be sure to book your tickets well in advance. It’s well priced with a restaurant/cafĂ© in the same building so worth a visit. The university has lovely views over the city at night.
Marks & Spencer - Canterbury
4-6 St. Georges Street, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2SR

With Marks and Sparks you simply can’t go wrong! One of Britain’s most trusted high street chains and at lovely prices with frequent sales. The food is great although on the pricey side, however it’s justified as it’s so nice. The cheesy adverts don’t lie!! Clothes would perhaps suit mostly older people rather than teenagers, but they have good quality school uniforms for children and nice shoes and boots and trainers if you like that sort of thing. The Canterbury M&S is located right on the high street so easily accesible and has a good bit for quick food like sandwiches, sushi, etc.
