Corner lounge - Chelmsford

1 Tindal St, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 1XP

A little quiet as it was early on Good Friday evening but service was good and the set menu excellent value and well cooked. Will visit again

The Lansdown Hotel & Confrence Centre - Norwich

This ranks amongst the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. This was not a tired hotel, it's way tool ate for that. Too many bad things to list. Why do I have to award one star?

The Fleece - Bristol

12 St Thomas St, Bristol BS1 6JJ

Great music venue. The owner is spending time and money getting this place in order. Shame about the pillars that can get in the way and the long walk from the dressing rooms to the stage via the bar, but hey that's rock'n'roll

Royal Albert Hall - Knightsbridge

Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AP

CARMEN was great although the drinks were pricey. Don't expect a great sound from the vocal performances but the orchestra sounds fantastic. Lighting was very good too.

Bar Italia - Soho

22 Frith Street, Soho, London W1D 4RF

Always great coffee and friendly service. Does need a lick of paint though as looking a little tired rather than vintage

casa brindisa - Knightsbridge

7-9 Exhibition Road, London SW7 2HQ

Squeezed us in last minute on way to Albert Hall for some nice tapas and a bottle of plonk. Certainly not a budget meal. The tortilla was very good but the deep fried goat's cheese with honey dressing was orgasmic. Great ambience apart from the couple two tables away breaking up and the young lady in floods of tears and being left with the bill.

Studio 6 - South Bank

Gabriel's Wharf, South Bank, London SE1 9PP

Very nice lunch here with the mrs. Reasonably priced and great bottle of Shiraz. Specials on offer added to an already good menu and even had custard to go with the crumble rather than ice cream. Will certainly go back here for an evening meal

West Ham United Stadium (FC) - Plaistow

Boleyn Ground, Upton Park, London E13 9AZ

Can we please change the photo for the stadium?

evansm49 Tell me the link between this photo and table tennis @ Earls Colne please..!!

gilbo79 I’m confused, there is no link

El Guaca - Maldon

132 High Street, Maldon, Essex CM9 5

Well a fairly new addition to the high street in Maldon. This building has been many different eateries over the past years and this one seems to be the best so far. Mid priced Mex served in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Seemed family friendly too. Worth a visit rather than the normal chains dotted through the town.

Islington Assembly Hall - Islington

Upper Street, London N1 2UD

My second visit to this newish music venue. Pa has been upgraded and the sound much better than last time, but it was 'Lofty' Lockhart doing the FOH. Bar is basic and provides cans poured into plastic glasses, for you fizzy beer drinkers. All drinks seemed to be £4.
