The Sun and Yellow Log are worth the entrance alone.

Four of us ate, had a jug of Pimms, two pints and water for £50. Bargain! Food was good, service friendly and beer well served. well worth a visit

Easy parking and plenty of space in the seats. Food and drink from the outlets reasonably priced.

Nice on a warm day to sit out the back on the terrace. Good selection of reasonably priced food and some excellent fish available in the daily specials. Good for local lunchtime trade but dead in the evening

Very large portions of good Indian food. Not a great deal of choice though, it's Balti or Balti I'm afraid but the naans are humongous

Probably the worst hotel experience I've had in years. It was like Hotel Shameless. My room overlooked a flat roof full of air con plant and tools. Room was clean but small. When checking out there was a queue of other guests making complaints about noise, accommodation and food. The lad at reception kept telling everyone it wasn't his fault....mistake!!!


International Students House - Fitzrovia

Basic student housing rooms, but clean and well presented. Food is canteen style and cheap. Stayed two nights but next time would like to see room and test bed as mine was a little saggy in the middle.

Any pub that sells Doombar can't be bad. Saturday lunchtime food was reasonably priced and tasty. I would visit again if in the area.

Four Seasons Hotel Canary Wharf - Docklands

Actually felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel for once. Reasonable sized rooms, very helpful staff, valet parking, next to the Clipper pier, good bar that stayed open for us until 3:30am (if a little pricey). Would go back again, but not at the rack rate.

Vinopolis World Of Wine - Southwark

Very enjoyable afternoon spent with about 70 of us in a party. Plenty to taste, but wines lacked quality unless you wanted to pay extra. Nice Bombay cocktail, rum and asbynthe though. Food was basic nibbles and the staff serving the food looked like they had been caught in the headlights, confused and out of their depth when things started to run out.
