Outstanding Service - Not Enough STARS! I called Transco recently as I had a constant smell of fumes in my home. Within the hour Transco had visited my property and disconnected my gas supply as something called the Flue was not connected and was apparently very dangerous. Reece Hamerton at Platinum Gas – an Engineer based in Preston Lancashire was called out the same day as I have a small child and needed hot water and heating… Reece attended my property and checked my boiler system over, advised me what would need doing and how much it would cost to make my home safe again. He then gave me the first appointment he had available. The work was completed to a very high standard which is pretty unusual these days and thankfully the cost was not half as much of a shock as it would have been to find someone in my family dead. I know, a bit dramatic… A few weeks later I was watching Coronation Street and a Shudder went down my spine. (This was the episode where Fizz was hospitalised due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning). Thankfully this didn’t happen to me or my family. My only regret was that I never offered Reece a brew so when Reece comes to do a job for you, please make him one from me.
