Have been shopping at this store for many years and have always been happy with the service but have only noticed it getting even better in the past year possibly as we have had a new granddaughter and were shopping for stuff relating to her. in march went to buy new sat nav for my son the assistant was just lovely and didn't treat me as stupid as I didn't understand any if it and then back in April for another one for my husband as he liked my sons so much. Really lovely staff again at that visit and discounted the cost if the carry case etc which was great, today went in for the next stage car seat for our granddaughter which was advertised at £220 but they price matched it to John Lewis at £175 no problem. The young man took the demo seat out to our car showed me all about it made sure it fitted and was secure then when we were happy we bought the seat and he fitted it perfectly ready to go she drove home In the new seat happy. It's lovely to have this excellent level of service from this store told me to come back anytime for a check up to make sure the seat was still ok and fitted to standard. A big AAA++ to them today

Travelodge Stratford Alcester Hotel - Alcester

My son who has aspergers syndrome was going off for a weekend to a military reenactment event and wanted for the first time to go on his own, he drives his own car and is very able but also vulnerable so i was worried to say the least he is 25 years of age. I telephone the travelodge expecting to have to speak to many different people to try and get a contact name should i have to phone to sort out a problem and my husband said well i’ts a travelodge so you cant expect much, well was he wrong. I couldn’t have ask for better staff or nicer people to look after my son while he was there. I spoke to a lovely lady named Tracy and she assured me that they would welcome him and make sure he knew where he was going would check his sat nav settings and generally look out for him, what a wonderful service, I had all the names of the staff who would be on that weekend so that i knew who to speak with. My son managed without incident to arrive, enjoy the entire weekend and then leave on the sunday, I got a phone call from Tracy to say that he had checked out she made sure he was ok and that he was going to fill up with petrol and get a snack and set off. SHe even made sure he had changed his wet socks, this nearly made me cry lol I will always be grateful to her and the staff at Travelodge for their kindness and care, top marks and i havent even mentioned the great price for the two nights, wonderful, I will now always give my custom to travelodge when travelling.

Crowne plaza hotel glasgow - Glasgow

Big modern hotel which we were looking forward to visiting, welcomed and given our room without incident I had requested a disabled access bathroom and also been told that the leisure centre was disabled friendly, this turned out not to be the case, no disabled bathroom/shower and when I took my son who has autism and requires help to the pool there was a further problem when we were told there was no disabled changing room or access I had to allow my son to go into the gents changing room despite him not be able to dress shower then redress himself this was very stressful, I was then told that there was no way of my accessing the pool as there were no graduated steps into the pool or any form of lowering equipment well that was bad news but that would have of course been bad if I could have got from the ladies changing room to the pool but alas my rollator frame was too wide to get around the right corners at the pool to he able to get even to the side. So I spent an hour outside sitting worrying about my son who was on his own and wondering if this was 1987 when disabled access was Jon existent. I Asjed to see the duty managed who said he could send me to another gym in Glasgow at their expense I’m Not sure what to say to that, it was like would you like me to just disappear and then we won’t be a problem he didn’t seem overly concerned by his body language and general manner he seemed preoccupied. So all in all I left the next morning having had no shower or swim a big dissapointment I of course filled out a comment card but am still waiting to hear. If you have mobility difficulties and wish to use the leisure centre here don’t bother. Further post after getting back got a call from the manager regarding my comments card, they apologised that as the website clicks into the motivation leisure centres general website it doesn't actually give you individual access problems of the hotel in Glasgow the manager assured me they will be changing this. Also she said that there are disabled access showers in the rooms and I should have been offered one. So it's reassuring that the hotel read these comments cards and take action to try and help which is good for a large company. We were also offered a complimentary overnight stay to try the hotel again to show they can actually welcome and accommodate clients with mobility difficulties.

Cannot thank the staff enough at lazer planet in Clydebank especially AIDEN who made my son Stevie's day by playing a game of lazer tag as there were no other customers in at the time my son is 22 and has autism with no speech at all and yet this guy made a brilliant effort to make stevies visit a great success we had driven through from Edinburgh in a snow storm to get there and were really warmly welcomed. I can't thank them enough a bunch of really nice staff and a great place to take the kids (and bigger kids) once again thanks especially to AIDEN for going the extra mile for my son - oh brilliant value for money too with affordable prices

Really feel let down today taking back an iphone 5 cover I bought here about 6-7 weeks ago the magnet which holds the clip part had slipped and it wouldn't close the cost of the cover was £9.99 and I thought as I have been shopping here as avoid customer for years it wouldn't be a problem for him to fix or replace, oh was I wrong about this. This store has been bought over by people who refuse to help out with items which were purchased before they took over I pointed out that he had bought the shop with stock and goodwill which means you honour the previous sales made before you took over but was told no we not going to do anything at all. My family and i have bought many hundreds of pounds worth of pc's and phones and also always went here for repairs as the guy was excellent but I will not be back! For the sake if good customer relations and a stupid cover he has lost a lot of future business

We have used a2b transfers for around 7 years now and have found then prompt, great customer relations, good value for money and very reliable. They are a fantastic company who's drivers are always very friendly allowing extra time for disabled customers and always making sure you are in the right place at the right time, we will continue to use a2b as we make them part of our holiday plans now every time we book.

I have been visiting and donating to the three charity shops on this corner for many years now and often buying a few bits and bobs and it's great to see people donating goods they no longer want or need for these shops to make money but I am afraid today will be the last I ever give or buy from the British heart foundation. It's always been a really cramped shop where you can never get around easily especially as I use a rollator to walk for balance but I often see mums with prams struggling round but it's suppose to be about the floor plan away that aside. Today as I got out to take the donation bag out the car a woman and young guy came out and opened the trade waste bin and proceeded to tip blankets, sheets curtains and pillow cases into it, I said oh my goodness wait I can give them to the Bethany care shelter or fresh start they are needed there is nothing wrong with them, no she said you can't have them they are going in the bin and poured oil over them I said what are you doing she said stopping people stealing out the buckets! I said but why don't you recycle them? We don't recycle, well give them to the homeless shelter, we don't donate! I have never been so angry lovely warm clean blankets nice fresh looking curtains and other bedding in the bin! If people realised that instead of making some money on the donated good or recycling them even or getting some money from the rag man who comes around d dry Friday that this charity shop was stuffing their buckets with them to go and make the landfill problem worse then surely they would think twice, I will never give them another thing or buy from them.

We took our daughter and her partner here for a 3D scan and it was the most wonderful experience ever, we did not know what to expect we had looked at the photos on the website but the reality of it was far better. We opted for the gold package and it was worth every penny, the images were sharp and so clear we got to see our granddaughter at 28 weeks, it was something we will never forget. We came away delighted with 2 DVD's which are made like into a movie type thing with captions and images to keep forever, a CD to enable you to get your own prints done if you want more, a beautiful silver frame for the photo and 5 printed off images which were so clear it was lovely. The staff made us feel very welcome and explained everything to us, we as the grandparents were seated at the back of the couch where my daughter and her partner were allowing her some privacy and us to be comfortable in the lovely sofas, coffees and teas were offered and we felt very happy not just valued as customers but actually it was like more of a welcome from friends. We are considering doing it again in a few weeks as we loved it so much. The sonographer was lovely and so friendly making sure my daughter was comfortable and pointing out all the features of our granddaughters face, eyes nose mouth, her eyelashes etc just amazing. She was sucking her fingers, and winking her eye! I cant recommend Babes in the Womb highly enough you must go and take your friends and family, its a once in a life time experience. Many thanks to Darren and all the staff there.

House Of Fraser - Edinburgh

I bought a revellation suitcase for £120 from this store about 18 months ago and it fell apart on my last journey, No problem i thought it had a lifetime guarantee - well thats what i thought.

I phoned the store and spoke to a very unhelpful staff member although i was trying to be very nice and tell her the problem, if that was she had let me get a word on edgeways, she constantly interupted me by keeping almost shouting do you have your receipt, over and over i apologised and said no i had in fact lost my receipt but as it was a house of fraser own make item i didn't think this would be a problem,

oh how wrong i was. This member of staff who sounded around 60 years of age had not attended the customer care training she was suppose to have gone to,

she was so horrible and nasty i ended up asking her if by any chance the store could as a goodwill gesture exchange the faulty item as it was their own product and not one bought in from another company, she said NO! quite plain NO. so,

I then got the stores details on the web and emailed them telling them i expected to have this sort of treatment from poundstretcher but not from House of fraser and in this economic climate as it is i would have thought they would have wanted to keep their loyal customers (to which I am) and not shout at them, I explained that i had had an extension bought and all the paperwork from the are it is kept was decanted into the garage and this is where it must have gotten lost, and I requested that they would possibly think about helping a customer instead of making them feel they had been a bother to the staff on what seemed a very bad day.

I had a return email apologising and offering to exchange the said case and also to allow me to choose a luggage item up to £10 in value as an apology, that's better house of fraser, our relationship is intact. When of course i went to have it exchanged the look from the upset and very annoyed member of staff was enough to put me off my dinner (but thankfully didnt).

I will continue to shop at the big stores such as HOF , John Lewis and Jenners as i do feel they look after you a bit better (or should)
