I go to pret a manger quite regular I usually go on Saturdays. Its always a good sign its always very busy even at less busy times. The food is fanastic very tasty its making my hungry typing about it! The staff are always very helpful and friendly! Prices are a little steep but no worse than the likes of Costa and Cafe nero or infact any coffee shop!

Central station is situated more or less in the heart of Newcastle. Its very good location its practicaly in the central station (Mainline/National rail) The station is tired and dirty looking, trains are fairly frequent every 3 min at peak times and every 6-12 off peak.

Have used these taxis on a number of occassions now. They offer a £16 set fare to the Airport which is great however be warned that its not on the return journey away from Airport. We got charged £20.00 from Airport to Cramlinton which is a bit steep. Considering I got a taxi from Central station ( Newcastle) to Cramlington for £17.00. Another point that if you have four cases you are not guranteed to get in the car as many don't accomidate them. They do however have larger people carriers and minibuses. Drivers are ok as long as they turned up on time which to be fair they always do so I can't complain.

If you want cheap clothing which looks decent look no thurther than primark! The store has recently been refurbished it looks very modern and funky! It can be a bit of a rat race at times and a bit like a jumble sale with clothing on the floor but I think all primarks are the same.

This so called hotel is terrible almost to the point of embarrassment. It looks awful not a good first impression of Tyneside. While the staff are helpful and friendly the rooms are awful very 70's!!!!!
Abigail party comes to mind! There is better hotels nearby Double tree hotel i would reccomend!

I am not the biggest football fan supporter however I came to St James park for a prom i was not impressed it was a very difficult layout lots of entrances. The staff were not very helpful nor friendly also the bar prices are a day light robbery £3.00 for a bottle of coke seriously? I have been to better football stadiums around the country.

Easy jet are a great airline, much better than the likes of Ryanair. Its budget so you do really get what you pay for. No in flight entertainment, limited selection of food and drink. However staff are usually friendly and helpful. Flights are on time usually its usually the stragglers who hold everyone up. Great airline would reccomend!

I went to the theater royal last Friday. The building architecturally looks good and is a nice buliding. We went to see Aladdin pantomime which was good, we were on the 4th floor row the highest in the building, so we had a uninterrupted view of the pantomime. We sat down the the show started, we got our cameras out and took pictures, next thing we know there was these two oldish women ( Autotrorium staff presumably) Poking our shoulders quite hard telling us to put our cameras away. I thought it was very rude. I was not impressed also there was no signs telling us no photos allowed, It really spoiled the Pantomine which was very good. I feel like making a formal complaint about this but i will probably get nowhere.
There is a small shop stall selling merchandise, which was expensive. The seating was fairly hard the only good point it was not hot inside.
I am not putting anyone off here but what happened to us is hopefully a one off. However I should not return any time soon.

Newcastle airport is not far from Newcastle city centre only 20 minutes via metro. The airport is situated near Pontaland and Kingston park. The airport is fairly modern and terminal is pleasant and bright. There is a large check in area. Newcastle airport is international so it serves not just Europe, flights go to Dubai and New york ( seasonal) and Australia. However some of the security staff are not very pleasant however that goes for most airports. Shopping is average at best there is a fairly large duty free shop. However prices are extortionate. In conclusion i would reccomend!
