Uncle Lim's Kitchen - Croydon
Upper North Arcade, Whitgift Center , London CRO 1UZ
16-03-2013
Located in a tucked away bit of the Whitgift center near the Whsmith,
I went for the Laksa as did my son he likes it spicey! and was not dissapointed, as good as you can get in London.
They have a buffet that i didn't go for but looked good and very large portions.
They have some other dishes which you order off the menu like the Laksa and they are cooked fresh, i heard from a regular who had lived in Singapore and Hong kong that they were very good too,
My quest for laksa in london has stopped now i found uncle lims, horaay

i find its overpriced for what it is, they make enough revenue from the Advertisment, bar and food so why the tickets so expensive???
Find some of the cinemas a little small well and the seats are not that great for me i short ,in fact i got a little crick in my neck but was sitting in the 3rd row from front.
had to sit through at least 30 mins of adverts, and you are waiting for the film so dont want to go out so you are forced to watch it. i think it also rather poncey,

i do most of my shopping here in lidl and have got it to a fine art.
The Brixton staff are great really friendly and helpful and they work there socks off.
i don't find the queue any longer than other supermarkets and they are definitely cheaper. all the standard staples are available and there own brand stuff is as good as any other
They used to do a wicked marmite copy by there brand route 66 but got rid of it for some reason. i preferred it to the real marmite and of course it was cheaper.
Unlike the other reviewer i use the formil laundry liquid and its all right for me even though i am a sensitive flower. i think they are the bizniz.
dried fruit, nuts deli stuff they have it all.
