OK….I never thought I would feel the need to jump of an 80 meter bridge with an elastic band wrapped around my feet, but then again….who would?
Whilst the countryside is beautiful and the climate warm, the people of New Zealand must have at least one sandwich missing from their picnics or why else would they invent bungee jumping??
Still, the staff here were brilliant, the other jumpers supportive and all in all, I recommend this bungee to those people visiting NZ who don’t fancy the “big jump” on the south island

Of all the cafes in Wanganui, this is the best by far. Great Coffee, stunning muffins and pasties to die for.
The staff are great (especially Jodie, the girl from London) and if you ask, they will sign your name in the froth of your coffee…....
If you find yourself in Wanaganui, check this place out.

Where do I start?
After 12 hours on a Korean Air 747 with no ciggies, I am greeted by an almost sterile/clean/spotless terminal building with SMOKING ROOMS.!!!!
OK, this might cloud my judgement, no pun intended, but at least the Koreans cater for us fag breathed tax payers. After that, they have countless eateries catering for all types of tastes, bars, shops, a hotel, free showers, free broadband access on laptops, telephone charging (free again) and anything else you could need.
Heathroww and BAA take note, this is how an airport terminal should be!

Oh dear! Another proper pub, ruined by giving it the Edwards treatment. I remember when this was The Swan, a pub that was always busy, day and night, but where you received great service and quality food.
Now…..the usual bland lagers and microwaved food are all that’s on offer. Why do the pub holding companies continue to rip the souls out of pubs? There was nothing wrong with the Great British Pub, but with the law change in the 80’s making brewers sell up a load of their pubs to holding companies and then the big banks and investors jumping in, with no hospitality experience, what’s on offer now is bland by comparison.

Cracking pub, set just away from the river Thames. Massive beer garden, good selection of ales and brilliant food.
Although it has had a refurb, the pub has lost none of it’s character and the locals (God, some of the houses are fantastic) are very friendly.
Not the easiest pub to access, but if you are taking a riverside stroll along the thames, this place is well worth a visit.

Where do I start? This place is a bit of a meat market where you will find groups of Anzacs looking for girls, getting drunk and dancing like your dad.
Usual Lagers on offer, all at reasonable prices and served by staff who look like they are enjoying themselves and as long as the groups of Anzacs stay relitively sober, you can have a good time here.
Bottom line here is if you’re a bloke looking for “comfort” then this is the place you might get lucky but if you’re a lady looking for a quiet night, being left alone with your friends, then think again!

I recently purchased goods from this company and I would advise caution to anyone else who thinks of doing te same. After seeing various adverts in the national press, I decided to buy 2 pairs of 100% leather shoes from them and made my order on November 2nd 2008. As I type this on November the 19th, the only thing I have received is the confirmation tht my money is in their bank account.
I am not saying that this is the normal level of customer service that they provide, but the fact that I have been misled by both their CRM deparment and their courier company parcelnet, makes me advise that you look elsewhere for your bargain footware

A Fullers Pie and Ale house, this place is a favoure haunt of the legal execs who work in the area. You won’t find many barristers here, but legal clerks and students find this place just up-market enough.
Usual well kept fullers ales and lagers and wonderfill pies are the order of the day here, but the staff are the achilles heel, as they seem to change with the seasons.
Still, as “modern” pubs go, this one is a good example of money well spent

A great Little pub that has it’s own “mini” beer festival once a year. The ales are always well kept and it gets very busy at lunchtime, where you can choose from toasted sarnies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs…
The staff are always attentive and efficient. Outside there are barrels on the main passage way and more down a little side alley. When I say this place is small, I am not joking. 15 people on the front bar and 15 in the back and it’s “heaving”, but don’t let that put you off.
Well worth a visit!

Cracking restaurant. I recently stayed with friends on Devonshire road and offered to pay for the take away. Then 5 of their friends popped round and I thought to myself “oh no…how much is Indian food for 8 going to cost?”
Well, the answer was £60…including nan bread, pops, 5 rice, 8 main dishes and a selection of nibbles to start.
Indian food for an average of £7.50 a head is great value, especially in W4, but what made it even better was the quality of the food. It was spot on!
