Staff are always friendly and the shop is always clean. The hot chocolate is particularly good :)

If you're looking for value for money then you can pretty much get it here - all you can eat (I recall £7 lunch and £13 dinner) with a very wide range of chinese dishes. The food quality isn't great but it is alright for what it is. Good for a casual meal with friends; not so much for a family event or anything nice.

I want markets all year round! The German market only stays for a short time but adds so much buzz to the area its amazing. The food is really tasty (though a little pricey) and you cannot beat a bit of gluhwein to warm you up on a winters day. The wide variety of stalls helps with the christmas shopping, although it gets super busy on the weekends - so try and avoid it then.

You can tell the guys in here love the drunken banter that usually results from visiting a place like this. Lots of different fast food, the cheesy chips are good (on a par with adams place) and if you go towards the end of the night you might get some freebies - depends on who is working. at busy times you have to wait a while so time your visit properly!

Nice big space.....but too cold in the winter and not enough places to sit in the summer...

I love the sandwiches here! The fillings are inventive (I loved) the January "sandwich of the month" and for what they are I don't think they are too pricey. It's conveniently located in the middle of the "financial" district but service is always quick even in busy periods. Much better than getting a chain cafe sandwich!

This place is off the beaten student track, so it is never overridden or busy with hungover students. The menu is nice and contemporary - I had some delicious pesto when I went and everyone there was satisfied with their meal.

Have enjoyed this place every time I have been there. The food is a little different with fairly imaginative pizzas and other dishes - my favourite is the camembert and bread starter. Its in a bit of a random place and only the 22/23/103 buses serve it, but once you're there its cosy and enjoyable.
