Al Gusto is a unique Italian restaurant which prides itself as not being part of a high street chain, with their food freshly made everyday. I have eaten there several times now and each time the food has been impeccable. I particularly reccommend their fish dishes and their pizzas are a perfect healthier alternative to fast-food pizza. The atmosphere is always relaxed and the service is delightful. The menu is appropriately priced for the good quality food it provides and it's a pleasant dining experience.

Not quite your family pub and seen as a bit scruffy with its letters repeatedly disappearing. It's a bit dingy inside and can get quite rowdy at night. It's fine as your local if you know those who go otherwise can seem a bit intimidating to a newcomer.

The food here excellent and it was surprising to see how quality can make a difference to something as common and easy to cook as mussels. However, the was a small level of unprofessionalism as the staff were complaining quite loudly about being understaffed. As a customer I did not want to hear them moaning about. They also got one of the orders wrong but sorted it very quickly. The man serving us was extremely polite and attentive so any small quibbles I had were made up by the food and his good customer service. I believe my experience with the other grumbling staff was a one off.

Always extremely busy but staff seem to get through everyone quickly and efficiently. It is a shame that you cannot usually get a seat, however as fast food goes... they produce food fasr!

Not always available as it's a one guy taxi service. He's very friendly and always seems to remember a familiar face!

The Orchard Centre really turned Didcot around from 'charity shop central' to being a place you would happily do your Christmas shopping. There are a good selection of shops with more being introduced. Only criticism would be that there is a distinct lack of men's clothing stores.

This shop is great value for money. You can buy the most expensive of cards from the very cheapest and all those in between. Gift bags and wrapping paper is also very cheap and it is great to pick up small jokey gifts.

A charming little florists with an array of flowers to choose from. I found this particularly helpful on Mothers' day where I bought a small potted flower which is still alive and well today! They also have the odd sale which gives you great value for money.

My boyfriend bought my prom corsage from here and although the flower was very beautiful and in good quality the corsage broke very easily which left us quite disappointed, especially for the price we paid for it. Customer service however, was helpful

Still being a fairly new building, it caters very well for its primary needs as a health centre. The staff are helpful and friendly and their use of 'checking in' keeps things efficient. The pharmacy next door is also a helpful addition as you can go straight from the doctor's and get your prescription.
